Personality: Fawnpetal is a gentle soul who enjoys sharing her company with those around her. She isn't quite motherly, but she has a natural charisma that attracts young cats to her. Although she is not quite fully confident, she knows her limits well and it is more likely to find a kit with wings than to find a cat as efficient as she when it comes to knowing her limits. She is also extremely caring and makes it her job to learn the personality and ability of those around her. However, she is given to the occasional neurotic episode and is unwaveringly dogmatic on certain beliefs. Inclined towards cowardice, she works well but will avoid upsetting events to a nearly unnatural degree.

Background: Always a delicate cat since birth, not many could ever comprehend how such a dainty kit came from the lion of a cat that was Mountainmane. Despite this she was doted on endlessly by her dam and given any extra little privilege that she could offer. Despite receiving what other nursery-bound kits often did not she remained kind and sympathetic, often found playing with her nursery-mates. By the time she left the nursery she had gained a more fitting size, but had remained as daintily built as the day she had been born. Blizzardstar looked kindly upon the young she-cat but understood that her time of coddling was over. 

On the day of her apprentice ceremony she was apprenticed to Shadowsnarl— one of the most stoic, cynical cats in the clan. The first moons of her apprenticeship were hard as the two clashing personalities came to an equilibrium. The two never really became close like other mentors and apprentices (although one would have to be blind to not see how Shadowsnarl softened for his apprentice; and Fawnpaw began to understand her mentor.) There are no other major events during her apprenticeship, except for the green cough outbreak right before her warrior ceremony.

• Her warrior ceremony was actually put off for a few moons because of a severe outbreak of green cough that took one of Blizzardstar's nine lives, nearly killed Shadowsnarl, killed the current medicine cat, and wreaked havoc on the rest of the clan.
• She was made a warrior as soon as Blizzardstar and Shadowsnarl healed.
• She was given the -petal part of her name both due to her build and in honor to the late medicine cat, Snowpetal, she worked with during the outbreak.
• Close to Yewbelly, the current medicine cat.
• Crushes on Yewbelly, but understands it is not allowed so she turns her attention to a quiet tom named Whisperflight.
