Lamont

Powers: He can make ice form or melt on his body, Can manipulate frost

Personality:  To sum him up perfectly well, Lamont is a gentle giant. He's quiet and gentle with handling, as he is a pretty strong guy. Or well, he tries. When panicked, angered, or distressed; he is unable to keep his own strength in check. He's kinda shy, so he prefers to watch then er...walk up to someone and talk???

Other: an oversized sweet bean whos really strong.

Backstory: (finally lol) Lamont was born in the tundra or close to an area similar to the Arctic or Antarctica. His father was out of the picture before he was born, and he's lived his whole life with his mother and grandmother. He spent his years as a toddler getting used to his legs and being clumsy with them. He did get traumatized when his grandmother was play-fighting with him (she's not too old but she's getting there) and he practically broke her arm. Lamont was in his preteens at the time. Since then, he wanted to be more gentle and tried to be careful.

He eventually moved out and became a nomad, traveling anywhere so as long as it was cold.

His first lover was an Archane named Milo, whom he helped when he crushed his leg. The two seemed to have a perfect relationship and adopted a son named Itsu, together. when h came to visit his old home and talked about his life with his grandmother who when asking about his Archane lover, realized that he didn’t know a lot about him. And that it was odd sometimes how it just seemed always happy. It was kinda distant despite the love they shared.

So he goes back and tried to talk to Milo about it. They get into a fight and it ends up with Lamont apologizing to Milo for letting him down and leaving him, taking Itsu with him. This later made his son hate his own kind.

The two traveled together and sadly, Lamont could not take him to his home when the season grew warmer. Because of his extremely thick fur, he fell ill in the summer. Not only did this traumatize Itsu, but also matured him as he was left to fend for himself and his father. Eventually, the two meet and interact with Jira. Stayed for a while and helped out a bit. Then Lamont meets Umeko and bond over them being crazy strong and being gentle giants. She played a major part in healing his heart and eventually adopted her to be Itsu's sister. But he’s a seasonal parent due to him needing to migrate to colder areas and Umeko can’t come. So she stays with Jira.

A couple of years later, he meets two Archanes traveling together. One seemed interested in learning more about his kind and Lamont decided that it would be best for his son if they could get him to adjust to his own species again. This Archane, named Layyin was warned about this and agrees to help. It went as well as one would think. Itsu harbored a deep hatred on Layyin at first sight.

It would be a long journey for everyone. It took way until Itsu's adulthood before he finally could handle being with other Archanes. Throughout all this, Lamont and Layyin had late night talks and comforted each other. Slowly, the two fell in love and have been together since then.
