Requiem is a chaotic individual. He's bitter and self serving from years of fending for himself in the junkyard and from humans. Although he has sound morals that he stands to, Requiem will in most all cases prioritize his well-being over others when it comes down to it. He's not the kind of keb to approach for casual conversation, and he makes this known. Whether or not this will change in the future is unknown, but for now, he will continue to greet all unfortunate enough to cross his path with a sharp tongue. While his job as a courier occasionally gets him into trouble, one treacherous trip nearly killed him. Thankfully, a local kebanzu saw him out at sea due to his flickering lightning and came to the rescue. Nausicaa, as he came to learn, was either stubborn or persistent enough, but her insistence might have found Requiem his first friend.
