Angel is young for a vampire. Young and tired of the politics already in her short unlife. Her embrace was accidental and the aftermath was a nightmare. She's only managed to stay alive as long as she has with the taint on her aura because she keeps her head low and keeps her shit in order.

It may also help that she has some Wyrm-tainted wolf friends, as well.

Angel's history as an undead went something like: met a werewolf, friends with a werewolf, had an on-again/off-again thing with a neighborhood kid throughout her teens who later she discovered to be a vampire during an overzealous makeout session and straight up turned her (she then, almost immediately in her post-embrace hunger, straight up ate him). In the couple years after, her and her Garou friend (and some other rag-tag individuals) dealt with ridding their hometown of an almost Samuel Haight-like antagonist (even your storyteller shouldn't be playing an npc who's claim to fame is being the first black spiral dancer AND an abomination on top of that). During this time, she was snatched by some Sabbat and got the shovel treatment. Eventually, the group separated, going their own ways to, you know, deal with their own shit.

Angel stayed in her hometown, staking claim to a few places as personal havens (the waterworks, specifically) and keeping her head low to avoid hell breaking loose on her from local higher ranking vampires (from either side). Assisting in successfully taking down the abomination earned her some points and some respect, however, even with the diablerie marked on her.
