PERSONALITY
Raven's laid-back devil-may-care attitude can at times be read as complete lack of regard/inability to take things seriously. He projects this persona more when he's stressed and all he wants to do is have the mental breakdown he thinks he deserves and drink himself into oblivion.
Known for his acerbic wit and sarcastic sense of humor; good luck figuring out if Raven's being sassy motherfucker because he likes you or if he hates you and doesn't care if you know it.
Very systematic and organized. It can look very anal and pedantic but it's so automatic at this point Raven often doesn't realize he has these little routines in place until it's pointed out to him.
A bit too easygoing, Raven will put up with a lot of shit before he says something.
Tries hard to be positive and see the good in every situation but overthinks everything.
Somewhat conservative and likes to stick with what is familiar. Often finds change jarring and frustrating because it takes him a while to get used to the new norms.

PREFERANCES
- LIKES Music Raven's not sure he could live without it. Particularly fond of Hardstyle (older stuff) and trance.
- DISLIKES enclosed spaces Isn't outright claustrophobic but Raven would rather take the stairs than an elevator.
- HOBBY IS kickboxing But it's for fitness and fun more than anything. Raven's not competitive and doesn't take it seriously.
HABITS
- Night owl Raven seems to prefer doing the night shift and struggles with a daytime rotation.
- NON EXISTENT SLEEP Schedule Struggles to maintain a healthy sleep schedule during periods where there's no flying. He tries.
- looses track of time Often has no idea what day of the week it is. Has a whole bunch of alarms set in an attempt to combat this.
TRIVIA
- Dangerously allergic to seafood. He has a medical alert bracelet noting this on his left wrist.
- Can't stand the texture of denim. Just the thought of touching the rough fabric is enough to set him on edge and make him feel itchy and disgusting.
- Stays on base during winter months when the weather's too bad for any kind of flying to happen, doesn't like the heat and humidity of Aylos.
- Hopeless romantic. He's so desperate to not be alone he's ended up in a string of one night stands and gained a reputation for sleeping around.
- Raven learns languages to kill time through the ship's language programs (similar to Duolingo). Whilst he has a strict, rigid approach to practice a language, he'll often jump all over the place and practice whatever language he feels like learning that day and so far is only fluent in German with passable Spanish and very broken French. He knows a small handful of Greek and Russian words but they won't get him very far.
- Not a morning person, Raven's often grumpy and not fully with it until at least until 11am or until he's had several cups of strong black coffee.
- Actually doesn't like coffee he just learnt to tolerate the taste.
- Raven can splice his mind into the computer system of light space craft. Splicing is a surgically acquired learnt ability through a kind of microchipping. Pros: Much more accurate helming, super useful in close-quarter situations requiring awkward maneuvering and difficult to access berths requiring a complicated approach when docking. Cons: It's screwed with Raven's nervous system thus he's developed Asbestos Hands and Restless Leg Syndrome from using the ability. Because of this he fidgets a lot - can't seem to get comfortable and sometimes has trouble getting to sleep at night. It's not uncommon for Raven to walk around his cabin mumbling and cursing his leg because it won't stop twitching.
