Skye Smokeheart is the eldest of the Smokeheart siblings (alongside the likes of Fenrir and Sylvia), and is a knight who never really wanted to be one. Moody and cynical, he is torn about it and seeks a way to leave this life of fighting, while desperately trying to maintain his family’s brand image for his mother’s sake. Faced with the pressure of the other noble families and some of his own family members, he struggles to carve out his own path.

Summary
Skye is the oldest child of the prestigous Smokeheart family - and that means he watched it all fall apart, starting with the very first scandal with his father. While he tried to stay out of the limelight of family drama, he found it would come chasing him instead. After all, he was an heir - and an heir had to make himself presentable. Drawing and reading were hobbies to be entertained, but his true calling would be giving his family a greater name in service to knighthood. And perhaps it wouldn't even be that bad, if he didn't already massively prefer healing to fighting.
Today, he struggles to find a way to get back to doing what he loves - and finally carve a path to a more peaceful existence.

Skye's younger half-brother. Fenrir and Skye find a common bond in being pushed to life paths neither wanted. (Fenrir never wanted to serve in a Sanctuary, and Skye never wanted to become a knight.
