Backstory

Before she transformed she lived a normal life of a Human and passed her school with a very good note. After her celebration, she and some of her friends went to a forest in the far north. After going to a wandering route she felt that her time of leaving her friends and family behind has come. That she has to become the new Alpha and protect her people from the normal Wendigo's. She neither told her parents nor her friends farewell. 

The transformation was triggered after she had turned eighteen one week ago. She transformed not as slowly into a Wendigo as those who have been taking in by the Wendigo's Spirit. She is not only quite massive in size but also incredibly strong. She can easily kill a Wendigo, that is smaller and weaker than her. She happens to be called an Alpha by some people other just believe she always had been a Wendigo Descendant which only transforms when reaching adulthood. Male Wendigo's come to her territory when deciding to mate. She can give birth up to four pups. Currently hasn't mated at all.

Unlike a normal Wendigo Ann has retained all memories of her former life as a human. Annika often talks about her family and that she misses them but in order to not get them in any danger she avoids meeting them. Sometimes she walks back to her old home but stays hidden in the dark of the forest and is watching her mother for some time until she returns back to her territory which is far away from her birthplace. She is still a fairly young Alpha having transformed 6 years ago.
