Cassio Maye

→height/build: 5'9", has thick muscular thighs, and an athletic build

→strengths: extensive labor, focusing, keeping to himself - which he considers a strength, quick thinking, doesn't let anxiety consume him.

→bio: 

Cassio grew up like most farm kids did- up at the first signs of dawn to tend to the animals and help around the farm. He doesn't know what being lazy is, as he's had his work ethic drilled into him. Cassio grew up to two strict parents, and a loving older brother, Andrew, by his side. It was obvious growing up that Andrew was going to move on to bigger and better things, seeking an education that would take him out of their small town, and away from his family. Because of this, Cassio was the one who was raised to inherit the farm and take up his family's work, expectations shoved on to him. He never had the chance to choose anything else, because there was never anything else for him to choose. 

This caused him to become very bitter and resigned to his fate- where else would he go? He adores his older brother, admires him the most in the whole world, but still there are parts of him that deeply resent Andrew for inadvertently forcing Cassio into the life he lives. The worst bit might be that Cassio does enjoy his world, finds joy and peace in his plants and livestock, enjoys the hum and drum of his day to day- but having the option to do anything else ripped away from him has soured his personality, resulting in him having, essentially, no friends. This doesn't mean he is unfriendly, just that he has never cared to let anyone in or close to him. He does well around town, keeps peace with everyone but practically no one can say they really know anything about the young Maye brother. 

→ fun  facts: 

→ cassio keeps many, many succulents in his bedroom. he names them.

→ he lives mostly off his work, plant-based diet with meat here and there. he certainly knows his way around growing plants and which are good and bad. excellent cook.

→ he loves animals. horse boy. he has a german shepherd named Skippy, who pretty much never leaves his side.

→ he got his first tattoo in a fit of rebellion against his parents. he has three, the large lily pads on his left arm and two that are not visible. 

→ he came out to his parents in a take-it-or-leave-it kind of way. they are unhappy about it but he's very much like, "well, what are you gonna do about it?" 

→ cassio enjoys hiking alone and having picnics.
