Travis Helforde

Travis is a mid dark grey skinned Ashen demon. He stands 180cm or 5'11 tall and weighs about 75kg or 165lbs. He's got a buff chest and thick arms, and is rather muscly. He has lost his left arm, only a 7cm stump remains starting from his shoulder. The tip of the arm is covered in scars where the tissue once used to be. He also has a scar on his chin, a scar over his right eye and two scars over his left, the latter rendering his eye unusable and painful to open. He also has several scratches on his right shoulder and on his legs. Lastly, his tail is cut off at the middle.

He has amber eyes and dark lowly saturated lilac/purple waist-long dreads that are nearly always tied together behind his head. His dreads are clean and well looked after, as is his skin. He has two black horns on his head of which the right one's cracked at 12cm and stopped growing and the other nears 20cm in length. His nose is long and thin and its bridge is on the bulky side. He has two pointy ears that are about 12cm in length, on average making for some pretty long ears. His cheeks are low in fat and his jawline is triangular in form. His mouth is rather broad and can often be found curled into a smile.

For clothes, he often wears purple and more fancy clothing. He often goes for short sleeved shirts and coats that leave his stump uncovered, but in colder weather, he'll go for long sleeved coats and tie the sleeve in a knot. His most common attire is a sleeveless lilac shirt with a dark purple short sleeved vest on top of that. The top vest has seen better days, as it has quite a few tears near the bottom. He wears long dark purple trousers with lilac and green knee-high boots. He has a green bag that's fastened around the waist and has an extra strap around the left leg. On his right arm, he wears a long glove/sleeve with around the wrist a lilac crystal. The tunic has a crystal like this as well at the top. Around the end of his tail, he wears a bandage with two red feathers attached to it.

❖ Travis was born without a tail. When he learnt how to heal well enough to create new body parts, he examined Ben's tail and started forming a tail of his own. He was too quick about it, and after a year of slowly building up the tail's tissue, the tip started rotting. When flesh is damaged, a healer can mend it again, and when there is no flesh, a healer can create extra flesh. This isn't without consequences. The consequences of death healing are that if a patch of flesh is healed or created too quickly in too little time, the flesh will eventually die and that patch can never be healed again. This is what happened to his tail in the middle of forming it and it's the reason one of his horns stopped growing. This is also why he has this many scars despite being a healer. Scar tissue is easier to build up and therefor a safer option when healing in vital areas like the face, where rotting can be fatal or permanently disfigure him.
