Mistfeather

Mistfeather is a tall, lithe, blue-silver marbled tabby cat with white paws. Their fur is thick and coarse, though is rather short. Their legs are long and thin, allowing them to reach great speeds and heights when running and jumping, respectively. They are average weight and have smallish ears and paws. Thanks to their short fur they can stay cool in summer, but sometimes struggle to keep warm enough in the winter months. It is rare to see them with any sort of emotion on their face; they take care to conceal any sort of feeling regarding their situation so as to convince the rest of the clan that they are constantly on guard, ready to tackle the next challenge they will face.

Mistfeather, in short, is a very serious feline. They rarely do things for enjoyment, and when they do they're always careful to make sure there are no other cats around. They can often come across as snappish and rude, particularly the first time they talk to someone, and have very few cats they would count as friends. Despite this, they are quick to take control of cats in difficult situations, and their commanding attitiude that is often regarded as irritating can become rather useful.

They are, however, a rather unpleasant cat to be around. It's not difficult to see why they have so few friends once you've spent some time around them. Although they can be a good leader, they have the view that cats they do not count among their friends are dispensible, so would not hesitate to sacrifice one, or even a few, for the good of the many. They're also somewhat selfish. They value themself above others, believing that since they take up a leadership position somewhat regularly (despite not being the leader or deputy) they should be saved over others, since in their eyes they are too important to sacrifice.

Mistfeather started out their life in a small group of rogues, known then as Mirage. As a result of this they and their two siblings had a rather harsh upbringing, but adapted quickly to the lifestyle offered by the rogue group. Eventually, as was custom for members of the group, Mirage was given the option to leave for a while and see the world. Tempted by this offer, they and their siblings all agreed to go, and decided amongst themselves that they would stay together until they made their choice to return to the group or stay away.

The beginning of their journey went well. The trio had always gotten along well and worked excellently as a team. But while Mirage was out hunting alone one day, they got caught out in a storm, and spent the night away from their siblings. When morning came, they found that they were completely lost, and though they looked for rather a long time, they could not find their siblings.

Resigned to their fate, they left the area. Soon they came across a friendly face- a she-cat named Flame, a couple of moons younger than them. The pair stayed together for a number of moons, spending almost all of their time together, eventually becoming close enough to call one another mates. This was not to last, however; Flame came to some conclusions about Mirage, and left them behind. With their closest friend having left them, Mirage came across Dawnclan and decided to stay, taking on the name Mistfeather in an attempt to distance themself from their past.
