Garou hunts from the water, meaning he has to hide his pelt away while he hunts. Using his tongue, which pokes out of the water near the shore, he lures in birds and anything that is attracted to it; anything he can fit in his mouth he will eat. Garou cannot remain in water forever and must go back to dry land where he will don his pelt and protect his territory. He is a better hunter in the water and moves much more slowly  on land.
