Clover, along with her twin brother Link, is the youngest member of her family of moon rabbits. She was all but 7 years old when her oldest sister Usagi left home after an argument with their parents and never was seen again. When she didn’t show up after two days, their entire village organised a search for her, fearing she somehow got into an accident and wasn’t able to come home on her own.

When they didn’t find her, even after searching hundreds of kilometres around their home, most people stopped searching, but not Clover. She spent entire days going around the nearby villages and putting up flyers asking Usagi to come home, telling her she was waiting for her with her favourite cake for her birthday, and entire nights praying, begging the Goddess of the Moon to please bring her home, but to no avail: her beloved sister never came.

Since then, her nights are only filled with strange dreams where she swears she can hear Usagi talking to her, telling her stories of lush meadows, wildflowers and fresh water, or how much she misses her, her voice filled with tears and sorrow. She always wakes up from them strangely comforted and longing for green pastures, her eyes staring at the blue planet outside her windows without her even noticing.
