Kuroyuzu

Kuro is a young dragon who spends most of his time in human form, mingling with the shadier aspects of humanity and delighting in both its flaws and its soaring heights. His powerful abilities of influencing chance and fortune see him frequenting the gambling underworld, playing games and tweaking outcomes for fun. While he is definitely mischievious and has some questionable tastes in his promiscuous exploits, Kuro is a fundamentally good creature and would never truly hurt others, especially those who are weak or already hurting.

In his human form Kuro appears to be a petite young japanese man with a particularly dark skintone and thick eyelashes. His true form has black scales rimmed with metallic red, teal fur, and almost hypnotic red and blue glowing eyes. Like his best friend and on-off lover Happon the water dragon, Kuro is a creature who prefers to be close to the ground instead of in the air, and has a fondness for enclosed spaces that finds him often sleeping in cupboards and under tables when in dragon form.

Kuro's powers affect situations of chance, meaning the more certain an outcome is, the less able he is to influence it. When truly angered, Kuro is able to curse others with profound long-term misfortune, but this is not something he takes lightly and only the most grievous of transgressions could bring that out of him. Conversely, Kuro can bless individuals with great fortune, but again this is a very rare occurence.
