Personality Trait

My friends know they can rely on me, no matter what. Jetsam's loyalty has gotten them both into and out of fights. They're loyal beyond a fault. They're loyal to their death, your death, his death, her death — wait, that's actually a lot of deaths...

Ideals

People. I’m committed to my crewmates, not to ideals. If a friend was to, say, turn evil and try to take over the world? Jet would be right by their side, no fuss. They will follow their heart to the end of the world and back.

Bonds

I’ll always remember my first ship. Jetsam's first ship and crew, the Queen Zephyr, are very important to them. Though the members have scattered to the four winds, as pirates tend to do, the memories of their time spent together near and dear to their heart.

Flaws

I can’t help but pocket loose coins and other trinkets I come across. When you grow up on a ship, your sleight of hand skills tend to be good for more than just show. Jet's had to swipe a meal or a few coins more than they'd like to admit, and now, it's a habit.

About

They've been a pirate for most of their life; a crew adopted them when they were found squalling outside a tavern and named them for... sea trash. In spite of all evidence to the contrary, that particular crew put the necessary time, effort, and energy into raising a child, and Jetsam grew up relatively well-adjusted. They've jumped crews throughout their life, following friends, higher pay, and more interesting missions (but mostly friends — their strong sense of loyalty has been a sticking point more than a few times.)

TODAY IS A GIFT

Their latest expedition was a little out of the ordinary. Jetsam signed on as first mate, thinking an exploratory mission would net them some easy cash. They quickly found, however, that the captain thought that if he sailed past the Sea of Moving Ice, he would find another new continent. Instead, he and his crew found... more ice. Jet was the last to desert her mad captain and make for Neverwinter on foot.
