Shenovarin, commonly referred to as "Nova", is the chosen spirit guardian of the Ponderosa Forest. Like the other spirit guardians in Lesvein Isles, Nova has healing powers that allow her to rebuild the forest, or heal creatures when necessary. These powers do require her to use her energy, which she has a limited amount of that slowly regenerates over time.

Also like the other spirits of the Island, Nova has a chosen mortal assigned to defend the forest for her, as she does not have fighting abilities. Nova's chosen mortal is Scourge, who she found as a young bear who ran away from his home. Nova raised Scourge into the powerful assassin that he is today, and she taught him everything that he knows about the forest.
