The living shadow Umbra seeks out restless sleepers, turning their dreams into a nightmare. The sleeper has to escape layers of night terrors, "waking" again and again until finally awakening for real in a cold sweat. And if in the right sleeping position, caught in sleep paralysis. Everyone has a different sleep paralysis demon, but those affected by this particular nightmare see a distorted version of Umbra. It controls shadows, turning the corners of a room into a creeping darkness. Most end up a nervous wreck.
