Tanja was a character I created in 2011, as my main operative OC for the dA group Liar-Liars. The original premise for the group was to create an OC that was in some way related to ourselves, and I tried to go with a character that had more opposite (personality) traits to me. Emphasis on tried--
She’s one of my more difficult OCs to write, and there is a lot of her backstory that is still under development / I haven’t decided on. But her personality and general attitude is interesting to work with and I consider her a main OC in terms of her role in the Mafia Verse she originates from. She also has the distinction of knowing and supervising many of my other OCs in said verse.
Tanja hasn’t change too much design-wise, and slightly by coincidence I ended up having her right eye constantly covered in her design -- for no reason other than it’s just a rule of thumb when I draw her. Other things to note in her design include:
Amber eyes; dreadlocks (alternating in natural and blue-dye; tends to hide her right eye); mesomorph; pierced earlobes (loop earrings); various raised scars on her arms, shoulders and legs (from whip-fighting)
Currently she’s not active in any groups, but I am slowly working on her and her faction’s story in Mafia verse and other AUs.
