Soutei

Chains is the ancestor of Soutei and the originator of both his gold and his father's power over chains. Souteis father was blinded by greed and sealed his power to chip away at the regrowing gold, confining Soutei to the castle. Over the time the seal has weakened and he can roam the kingdom, but no farther. During his childhood before his power over gold was sealed he brought a potted plant to life, pot and all. After he was sealed the pot became a pot once more. In adulthood Soutei roamed the gardens and reignited the life of the pot, with newfound water running along it after years of neglect.

Chains, the now immortal being, was confined to the dungeons for eons. Her gold slowly leaked to where Radio could see and follow after researching the castle. After freeing her she is now working towards freeing her descendant.

The kingdom was abandoned decades prior, leaving it up in the air as to how old Soutei actually is. In his youth he wielded powerful magic residing over gold and its use, though once his father, the king, realized his son was made of gold, he chained him to the castle and sealed his magic, taking his golden fur and blood to fuel his greed. Sybil bore witness to his grief, and foretold the downfall of the once prosperous kingdom because of it.
