About
Estelle is a red headed, scarred, female warrior who turns to darker means to achieve what she feels is the best outcome. She takes specilizations such as Beserker and Reaver, and took advantage of blood magic research. She was also okay with a blood magic ritual to save the lives of the wardens fighting the archdemons. She's terrifying in combat, a downright bloody mess and anyone who sees her at that time often worries for themselves. Still, she looks after her own, and anyone who actually gets to know her learns that she is just and fair, and she listens to everyone's worries. Her political upbringing helps her to be a better ruler, and to say things that people need to hear.
Outside of combat, her roles in society are rather lofty. She is married to the King of Ferelden, and her background gave her the knowledge needed to help rule the country. Alistair had no such training, so she's been one of the most invaluable people to him in ruling. As defacto leader of the Wardens after Loghain's betrayal that lead to Ferelden's Warden's demise, she's found herself the Warden-Commander of the country as well. She has put Aria in charge any time she's unavaiable, but both jobs keep her schedule more than busy. On top of that, Wardens from around Thedas often come to her trying to get advice and accurate recounts on the Archdemon's demise, as she's kept the true reason no Wardens died in that fight a secret. The University of Orlais also hounds her for recounts and she's been asked to teach classes on combat, something she does from time to time but mostly for her fellow wardens.
Over time, Elle has found herself involved in major going ons throughout the world besides the one where she was the Hero. She has met The Champion Salvia Hawke, and had correspondences with The Inqusitior Julia Trevelyan. She is a voice of reason and someone everyone turns to for help, and she tries to give it where she can. She finds more pleasure if helping smite enemies than writing letters but she'll do what is needed.

Personality
A natural leader, Estelle has training in the ways of nobles. She knows how to read and write, how to keep ledgers and is good with money. She is kind to her friends, and is quick to pick up on the things that they like or that bothers them. The same observation is used on her foes, and she knows just where to strike in or out of battle to make it count. Estelle doesn't like to be very womanly, often drinking with the boys and enjoys breaking gender norms. She is decently patient, but if her temper is tested, she won't back down.
Elle wants to do the right thing, but she's not afraid to achieve them by wrong means. As such she lies more on the good end of the specrum, but neutral can also apply to her. She's decently chaotic, espescially in the heat of battle or on the road, but she's rather organized and methodical in day to day life life, as it makes the political aspects of her life that much easier. She hates being organized but she can manage it.
Elle finds it easy to make friends, she is good at listening to people and knowing what to say to make things right. She's well loved by the people who get to know her, and she's great at social gatherings. She hates Orlesian politics but her reception usually goes over well.

Appearance
At a decent height for a female, Estelle is rather fit, her weight hidden by the muscle mass, making her appear not much larger than the normal weight of a woman her height. She has bright red hair of medium length, often tied up in a bun. She has a healthy complexion, showing very little of the Darkspawn taint at least in earlier years, with what little there is often hidden with traces of makeup to keep up a good appearance. In battle, she is fearsome, her softer features twisting into a terrifying visage that strikes horror into the hearts of those that oppose her. She has various scars from her past, some even self inflicted, everything from being crushed by an ogre to stabbed with a tainted blade, and burned while in her armor, she's got it.
Her scars are across her whole body. The most notable ones she gained while down in the Deep Roads without a mage to help heal her wounds so they started healing without help. She has a large scarred area on her left arm and torso from being crushed in an ogre attack.A darkspawn tainted blade pierced her lower right part of her abdomen and the veins around the scar are dark and protrude more than the rest. She has a nasty slice across her left shoulder. Burns on her chest from her armor when she was trapped in a mage's inferno and was unable to take off the chest piece fast enough. She cuts herself for each of her failures, slices line up on the back of her left leg. She has a nasty slice on her right arm and another across her stomach. While not a scar in the traditional sense, she also has a tattoo inked on the inside of her right wrist, a symbol her companions took to remind them of their time together stopping the Blight. The sigil is the silhouette of the archdemon's head, on the laurel wreath of the Cousland heraldry.
Estelle uses heavy plate armor, although preferring to use a long sword and shield to the preferred two handed swords that someone of her strength usually wields. While she will use whatever is available, she does try to wear things that don't mark her as a bandit, preferring to keep a bit of her nobility intact. She does not wear many dresses or womanly clothing, sticking to breeches and normal male clothing to retain her mobility even when out of armor.
She has quite a few different outfits and armors, no single one is preferred over the others. Instances in which she'd usually wear them are as follows. Dragonbone plate Armor (reddish): her standard armor, with lots of wear on it to show for it. She wore it often while fighting the Blight and the people know her for it. Sentinel Armor (black): A bit more incognito armor, most people don't know she has it so she uses it for missions she doesn't want people to know who she is but still needs the heavy protection. Warden Commander Armor (blue and black): Need to do official warden business instead of royal duties? Yep here's your armor. A bit more ceremonial but no less functional. Warden Dress wear (Blue and silver): Used for formal occasions where armor isn't as practical, such as a masquerade ball or some other event. Blue/black outfit: More of a professional attire when attending courtly duties. Wedding dress (ivory): Do I need explanation? Misc other outfits: If you look through her gallery you see her in all sorts of things and honestly anything goes, its not like she only has 5 outfits to her name ;)
Her gear usually includes some sort of shield and a longsword, often Blightblood (because who can resist that beautiful toxic glowing green sword?), although any other bladed weapon is fine, whatever she can get her hands on to be honest.

Met: 9:11 Dragon, Married: 9:12Elle started to fall for Alistair almost right away. He was a fellow Warden, but she kept her distance, preferring to keep things profressional as the leader of the group. Still, he had a way of making her smile with his witty retorts and cheesy comments, even in the darkest of times. Everyone of the group could tell they liked each other far sooner than they could admit it to themselves. Even once they kissed, their relationship progressed slowly. It was only during the Landsmeet when she knew she couldn't let herself be without him. When she made the decision for him to rule over Anora, she chose to announce that she'd rule besides him, a choice she could make as a surviving child of the Cousland family. They were a lovely couple, and the people of Ferelden knew they loved each other and their people. Elle also had a commitment to the Wardens, which strained their relationhsip from time to time, but they never lost faith or love for each other. Even when Elle disappeared to hunt for a cure for the darkspawn taint, they continued to love and worry for one another at a distance. Elee's only regret in the relationship is that she hasn't yet been able to bear him an heir.

- Morrigan offers a ritual with Alistair to get pregenant on the eve of battle and use blood magic of a sorts to cause the archdemon to travel to the barely developed child instead
- Hates the choice, and sulks with Morrigan's lover Damien after convincing Alistair to do the things
- Trekked back to denerim as the archdemon said screw your plans
- Fought through the city to the roof of Fort Drakon for final battle with the archdemon

- Escaped their prison to discover intelligant dalking darkspawn called the Architect had imprisoned them for experiments
- Learned that her sister is a ghoul and one of the Architect's followers
- Made it to the surface and recruited Velanna to the Wardens

- Found another talking darkspawn at Kristoff's body, a trap, who sent them all into the Fade

- Killed the baroness's pet demons and was sent back to the real world
- Spirit of Justice got stuck in Kristoff's body and came with the group unsure of what to do in the material plane

- Helped Kristoff's wife come to terms that he is dead and a spirit is inhabiting his body

- Learned Vigil's Keep was also under attack but chose to save the city. The Keep stood valliantly but finally fell, Few darkspawn remained and Elle's group came in to clear them up in time
- Learned from the Architect that the attacks were from a broodmother he made intelligent by giving her Grey Warden blood but she went crazy
- Decided to ally with the Architect to stop the Mother
- Learns he is freeing darkspawn from the call of the old gods by giving them darkspawn blood, and offers to find a way to supply him in the future as long as he doesn't transform broodmothers again
- Defeated the Mother with the Architect's help, whom retreated underground after
- Worked to rebuild Vigil's Keep and put Aria in charge as defacto Warden-Commander
- Helped the dwarves explore an adbaonded and rumored to be haunted Thaig
- Found out about dwarves attempting to make golems from flesh instead of stone and metal
- Destroyed a horrible abomination of these experiments they called the harvester, and research notes about their creation
- Went with Damien on the hunt for Morrigan as she had been sighted
- With the help of another mage and elf, they tracked down the witch
- Morrigan had research for Elle to use, and she watched as Damien left with her
- Returned to life at court
- Bred her mabari hound to give puppies to her friends
- Travelled to Kirkwall to visit the newly named Champion, found the city in chaos and her old warden friend Anders responsible for blowing up the chantry and starting the Mage-Templar War
- Helped evacuate the city and allow Hawke a chance to escape after she sided with the mages
- Convicned the prince of Starkhaven not to destroy the city further as Hawke and Anders have fled
- Made many appearances as a neutral party on behalf of both the mages and templars in attempts at peace
- Continued rebuilding the wardens alongside Aria so that Ferelden's ranks of them was full again
- Realized that Aria being married to an ex-assassin is pretty useful when you are in a position of power and people want you gone
- Managed the duties of the crown while Alistair went on a hunt after rumors of his father still alive
- Helped hide one of Hawke's companions, the blood mage Merill, who was also an old clan member of Aria's, reuniting the two
- Learned Wynne had been a casualty of the war and visited her grave with Shale
- Feeling the very beginning of her Calling due to how much exposure she's had to the taint between the blight, killing the archdemon, and all the events at Vigil's keep, she sets out to find a cure, starting with going underground to attempt to track the Architect
- Stays secretive about her locations, but keeps in contact with a few people, Alistair and Aria
- Is eventually tracked down by the Inquisition, but refuses to come assist them in person, instead sending Aria and information she has
- Allows herself to be side tracked from her mission to get rid of wardens who were killing each other
- Travelled to Weisshaupt to serach through old warden records
- Learns live griffons have been found
