Ira Regreba

One of the two main antagonists of the story. Ira is a successful public speaker who preaches awareness and self-sufficiency, He runs a popular public newsletter as well, although by the start of the story it has become controversial in its contents. Ira is charismatic and kind-hearted, possessed of a strong will and mind. He and his husband Luca are among the few people who have less-than-positive views on the Nexus, and for all his popularity Ira has experienced severe backlash from the New World's society since he has begun including criticism of the power source in his speeches.
