Corrin is... in all honesty, a nerd. And a bit of a loser. He gets excited about video games, and tends to flap his wrists/sleeves whenever he's happy. He has ADHD, so he stims often by doing this. He has the confidence of a crushed peanut, and doesn't know how to be anything except a pushover. Pest has tried to make him a little... less of a loser, but, it's very difficult.
His best quality is how much he laughs and smiles at small things, and how he stares at his boyfriend like he's literally his lifeline. He's not very smart in anything except video games, or dumb knowledge he's picked up from bathroom readers, but he has no issues infodumping about whatever his current hyperfixation may be ( it's usually whatever game he's been playing recently. )
He's naturally oblivious, and kind of... dense? Things need to be said to him directly, or else he's not going to understand. Sometimes he gets frustrated with himself about this, and will go out of his way to fib about understanding/knowing something, just so he can discreetly google it later and understand in case it ever comes up again. Honestly, he's trying his best.
He's very nervous around girls, in general, like, as if they're all going to crush him, but to be fair- River and Naomi both flirted with him once and it was too much and he almost exploded. So, now he just stays glued to Jake's side.
In private with Jake, he's more confident, because he's known Jake for so long, and all he ever wants is to shower him in love and make him understand that the past handful of years that Jake has had a crush on him, Corrin should've realized, and he loves him so much. He seems to be deadset on 'making up' those years of crushing to Jake, be this via small gifts or tugging Jake into his lap while they're playing a game and cuddling him for hours.

Corrin lived a pretty... normal life for an introverted nerd. He had a crush on a pretty girl, and got bullied by the popular kids. He had a best friend who he'd do just about anything for, and he was fine. He lived with one of his parents, and had to take care of his sister's dog after she left, and he was happy enough with that life. Sure, it sucked sometimes... most of the time... but he was living regardless.
He lived this... boring life, until a particularly rough morning at school. It was early in the year, but all his hardships were back in full swing. He was upset, and hiding in the back of the gym to avoid dealing with anyone, until one of the worst bullies, Nate, showed up to bother him. Nate slid down to sit next to him, and

- Wears a variety of t-shirts, but they've ALWAYS got something video game related on them!
- Sometimes he just looks like he's about to vomit. Why? Because that's his reaction to strong emotions, I guess. Gross.
- When possessed by Pest, his eyes turn electric blue and glowing circuitry starts to crawl along his veins.
- The zipper on his jacket is broken, and he hasn't ever gotten it fixed for some reason, so his jacket literally can't be closed.
- Has a small pixel heart tattoo on his left wrist.
- He has Anemia! He's got a low iron count, and takes daily supplements to keep it "normal", if he forgets them too long he starts to experience symptoms.
- He's literally so in love with Jake that sometimes he sits and thinks about it and starts sobbing immediately.
- He's a closet weeaboo.
- He prefers manga over anime, because he can get through a manga faster.
- He has notebooks entirely dedicated to taking notes of video games? Like, his fullest one is a notebook on every single important thing in Stardew Valley, with enough information to rival the official guidebook for sale.
- He gets nervous/nauseous around people he likes, which is, to say, sometimes he'll be hanging out with Jake and suddenly be so full of emotions that he's on the verge of throwing up. It's disgusting, actually, but it's how he is.
- He wants to become a vampire, for some reason? Jokes on him, he's a werewolf.
