General Description: Calista is average height, standing about 5' 6", she has dark brown hair that falls in loose curls down to the middle of her back. Calista has fair skin and storm gray eyes that are normally hidden by a pair of dark sunglasses. Her choices of outfits vary from shirts and pants tot he ocasional casual dress. She wears mainly gray toned colors as well as the odd olive green every now and then. Bright colors are not her thing. She also always wears her signature red scarf 

Personality: Calista is relativly shy, due to her abililty, she finds it very difficult to make friends with people and socialize with out being awkward. However, if you push past her social barriers, you would find that Calista is a very warm and tender girl. She is extremely empethetic and always tries to lend her help when someone is in any kind of pain. This makes her a very gentle soul. Calista is always very careful with her actions and words because of how they could effect other people. She can sometimes be a little over cautious though which just fuels her social akwardness. Due to her lack of socialization skills, Calista is an introvert and would much rather stay inside and do something quiet like draw or read. she's just a quiet bean in general.

Back Story: Calista Callet was born and raised in New York City, although you'd never know it just by looking at her. Calista was always very with drawn as a child which made her parents very unhappy becuase it took a toll on their social lives, but they accepted her for it none the less. At the age of nine, Calista began to develop a strange ability. She found that she could see into other people's thoughts and memeories. THis discovery made socializing even more difficult to cope with due to the fact that her power would activate whenevr she made direct eye contact with someone. Calista withdrew herself even more and even began refusing school, however, her parents still made her go. One day when Calista was in sixth grade, a couple of kids were bullying her, she looked them in the eyes to tell them off, but then her power activated which caused her to shut down a bit. As the children continued their taunting, the only thought that ran through her mind was "I wish They would stop." and suddenly they did. It was at this instance that Calista realized her powers extended into mind control as well. This discovery only caused Calista to become afraid of herslef even more and withdraw completely from society all together. During her years of isolation she began to search for ways to counter her ability. A discovery that she made was that if she wore sunglasses, it caused a blockage in her ability. From that day on calista started wearing the glasses everywhere, Making her even more subject to other people's prying words. However, Calista just continued on with her life, eventually graduating hig school and getting accepted into NYU to study art. It was at NYU that she met her current boyfriend Fletcher Lancaster. He approached her about a drawing she had done in class one day, and the two clicked. Fletecer was studing Graphic Design at NYU in the art program as well. At first Calista wasn't sure to make of her new friendship, but as they spent more time together she began to realise that Fletcher saw her as more than just a werid kid with sunglasses. As the two grew closer deeper feelings began to develop. Calista was apprehensive about a relationship at first, but as they traveled the raod of love together, she raelised that she could trust Fletcher, She never worked up the courage to tell him her secret though. Sometimes she would have a hard time acting normal around him, but found thath e was extremely friendly and open. After getting to know him inside and out, she was able to be around him normally, and even without her glasses on. They stayed together throughout the rest of college and graduated top of their class. Fletcher and Calista both got well paid jobs, Fletcher as a Graphic designer for a company and Calista as a storyboard artist for a kid's cartoon show. The two eneded up moving in together in a nice little apartment on the streets of Manhattan near Central Park. Due to her anxiety as to how he would react, Calista still has not worked up the courage to tell Fletcher about her ability, but hopes she will sometime soon.
