Background

Heliotrope stayed in the ground too long in Jasper's kindergarten, in a thick vein of green jasper, hence their colors.
Upon emerging to nothing, they began to wander and take in all the sights and such around them. Eventually they
integrated themselves into human society, and decided it was more interesting. To the point of living through centuries
of history, and avoiding any conflicts while keeping a low profile.

(I like to believe that the reason he doesn't have any memory of what he's supposed to be is because his creation was rushed
to the point they probably forgot he was even there. The data in his gem was more or less left as a blank slate that was skipped.)

They have no idea of what they were supposed to be, but they do believe they may be some kind of human...just..different.
They consider themselves hilariously enough, to be the offspring of a half blooded wizard. Given by the three factors he's learned;
- Can't die
- Can't age
- Summons magic to his aid

(Not that he ever shares it, but it's more believable over some of the other things he's considered through his life)

At the time they were once in a rock band, but disbanded after getting bored, and took the guitar as a keepsake.
They also established a blog of their own, after getting a phone and use it to keep up to date with the world around them
all the while using it to keep mementos of their adventures to those interested enough to check him out.
