tldr; Yuya is a cool and aloof guy who has a love for baking pastries, but he is pretty shy about the hobby. He likes riding his motorcycle around the city and city outskirts late at night.
Yuya was born into a wealthy family, giving him a comfortable upbringing. He grew up with 2 sisters (he is the middle child), which contributed to his girly hobbies like cooking and baking. But he knew even if his sisters and mother didn't influence him, he would still discover his love for his current hobbies anyway.
He attends a well-known university, studying engineering. He also works part-time in a bakery in his town. Other than baking, he has a hobby of riding and tinkering with his motorcycle. Ever since he got his liscence, he would often ride around the city at night as long as there wasn't hazardous weather.
Yuya can be rather unfriendly and untalkative at first, but with time he will warm up to others. Growing up, he felt like he only had friends because of his wealthy and popular family, so he kind of has issues trusting people who are too friendly with him. But really he just wants someone he knows he can trust and like him for who he is.
His favorite pastries to bake are French and Korean treats. He also loves hot choco and matcha green tea. His favorite place to have lunch in other than bakeries is Starbucks. If he likes you enough, he will text you at night asking if you'd like to join one of his motorcycle rides (it's like a friendship/heart event lol) He will also give you his pastries unannounced and ask you to give him feedback.
Yuya first met Tsubaki when he was picking up his little sister from school. His sister, Kaori, attends the same school as Tsubaki and is part of his kendo club. One day Kaori was injured during kendo practice and Tsubaki looked after her in the infirmary. When Yuya saw Tsubaki carrying his sister outside, he became suspicious- Was this guy hitting on her? But at the time, he didn't say anything to Tsubaki. When the siblings got home, he questioned Kaori about her relationship with Tsubaki. She got embarrassed and insisted that Tsubaki was just her senpai and club leader, but he didn't trust her.
Then the two met again when Tsubaki visited Yuya's bakery. By then, Tsubaki clears up the misunderstanding, telling Yuya that he wasn't even into girls that way. Embarrassed, Yuya apologizes and makes up for it by baking Tsubaki some free cookies. The two became friends after that, and Tsubaki visits the bakery more often to chat with Yuya. He appreciates how Tsubaki keeps Kaori safe during Kendo practice.
