Ollie

Ollie's husband (and practical soulmate). They met as she was out in the Isle of Armor, doing fieldwork. She thought he was strange, and he thought she was a threat... which basically threw them into a rivals-to-lovers dynamic. Ollie thought Avery was charming, and as much as Avery didn't want to admit it, he felt the same way. Eventually, they began to grow closer as Ollie continued to conduct research in the Isle of Armor. One thing led to another, and then they eventually began dating. As an official couple, they both were practically inseparable. Eventually, they got married, and now they are definitely inseparable. Ollie loves to spend almost every waking moment with Avery -- she drags him along to do fieldwork for her, and allows him to drag her along to his minor-league gym.

Ollie's crush. They both bonded over their love of learning -- they're both avid researchers, loving to do fieldwork with one another. Ollie's slowly beginning to fall in love with Cynthia, enchanted by her passion for Pokémon. As of now, Ollie isn't sure where her feelings are going to go -- but if one thing is certain, Ollie is absolutely smitten for Cynthia. She's so happy to have someone in her life who loves to learn as much as she does, even though the pair are studying considerably different things. Either way, their fields of study do somewhat go together, so they tend to see each other quite often.

Ollie's former neighbor in Unova. Ollie is deathly afraid of bug and poison types, so Odette, being an entomologist, was very, very scary to Ollie. Odette thought it was kind  of cute and silly for Ollie to have such a strong fear of something  so... "harmless", so she would often tease her about it. Ollie, on the  other hand, was kind of embarrassed to be so easily frightened by such  tiny things. However, in the present, the two are no longer neighbors --  Ollie has since moved to Galar, residing in Circhester. The two do keep  up with each other through chats, phone calls, letters, and by meeting  up during Ollie's occasional trips back to Unova.

Back when Ollie was obtaining her degree at Castelia University, she took up work as a waitress at Vivienne's cafe to pay her tuition. The two were already acquainted with one another, considering that they have competed against each other in Super Contests. Vivienne was happy to hire Ollie as a maid waitress, glad to have her back in her life. They tend to have friendly skirmishes with each other in the cafe's battlefield, which they both found to be super fun. Now that Ollie has her degree, she has since moved to Galar, but the two women stay in contact very frequently. Vivienne occasionally flies out to visit her, which makes Ollie very happy. Meanwhile, whenever Ollie makes her frequent trips to Unova, she always makes it a big deal to pay Vivienne a visit.

Joey is a fellow expat living in Galar after dealing with a rough family life in her early years. Joey and Ollie both confide in each other over their past grievances, but of course, their friendship goes much beyond that. Ollie has noticed that Joey is pretty... mushy with Ollie, to say the least. It makes her feel a bit funny, since Joey has a girlfriend... but Joey's girlfriend, Bunnie, noticeably shares those feelings Joey has for Ollie. Ollie still feels like she doesn't want to intrude... but still, she humors both of them from time to time. She doesn't mind it, but she honestly doesn't want to be a third for them.

Joey's girlfriend. Joey introduced the two ladies to each other after realizing they'd probably get along pretty well. Joey was very right, much to their delight. Bunnie finds Ollie to be painfully cute, so much so that she and Joey often want her to be their third. Ollie doesn't entirely reciprocate, but as said before, Ollie doesn't mind doing some couple-y things with them on occasion.
