Ravi Singh

Ravi is a restless, bold soul reaching for his dreams. He's stubborn, determined, and... struggling. Ambition can only get him so far before his circumstances chain him down. But that hasn‘t stopped his relentness (but forced) optimism.

Ravi wasn't born with determination and big dreams. His parents had his life picked out for him from before he drew his first breath: excel in school until it's time to raise a family. Whenever his rowdiness peeked through his meek shell, it was punished for being improper behavior for a young lady. His school assignments had to be near perfect from the time he learned how to hold a pencil. The pressure was intense. His shell protected him, and he became the perfect image of a smart, proper daughter. That is, until he went to college. It was there that he failed his first class, and with that failure came a mental breakdown. Everything his parents had drilled into him for twenty years came crashing down in a matter of weeks.

First, he dropped out of college. He moved out of the dorms into a small apartment across the city away from campus and, more importantly, away from his parents. After securing a new home, he quit his part time job as a cashier and started doing freelance coding work. Then came the hard part: shedding his fake identity. He cut off his hair, which reached nearly two feet in length, and got an undercut. He threw out all of his old clothes en masse, bought a whole new wardrobe from thrift shops and sale racks, and obtained an illegal source of testosterone.
