Malach was said to be Tethe's first creation, death's original child, reveared and feared by the ancient citizens of kotiin pre-sleep for not only his intimidatingly elegant appearances, but his sheer towering size.  

When he washed upon the shores of modern Kotiin, he was mistaken for a statue.  He met the awakening with a sense of bitterness, hoping that he'd finally been granted eternal rest by fate's hand.

Now he finds himself in Fidelio, and quite pleased that he'd woken at all.  He is completely enamored by the pakkeli Magdalena, and works alongside her.  Some assume he is her pimp more or less, others assume he's just a partner in the act.  Though he will readily play with others, all his truest and most tender affections are saved for Mag.
