Eldarya fancharacter ofc, here’s my/her page. This page is designed as if the reader knows about Eldarya and has played it, sorry everyone else.
Since she’s an old oc, a fair bit of art have lost credits, I had them all hidden for this reason, but with the fire that made a lot of players including myself lose their accounts, the artist links for the one that were credited might very well link back to a profile that doesn’t exist, so we'll have to settle for only usernames in that case. God I need a profile code for her bc this is overwhelming and messy

Lys is a forest dwelling changeling. Lives a joyful life dancing in the heart of the forest outside of the guard and playing flute. She keeps butterflies as company, they’re magical & she talks to them, they have smol childlike voices. Her social circle consists of butterflies, fairies and ravens. Eventually with a rag tag team of weirdos too tho. The raven shoulder plate she has is the head of Mother, a cursed being that she fought and that is barely alive rn but can talk & stuff. They have a love-hate family relationship lmao, read the link category for more info on it. She used to live on Earth but found herself in a witch circle while exploring a forest, something she loved doing, and appeared on Eldarya. She eventually meets the human counterpart of their birth exchange on Eldarya, who was a disciple of Mother, cue canon divergent personal plot huehue. 

She’s mischievous and high spirited, highly creative and resourceful. She lives alone in the forest with her clueless bear she has to feed ofc. She can get very cold and turn business mode when she meets with people she dislikes or that seem hostile, but she likes to think she’s warm and friendly and with a heart that forgives, even if it holds a lot of pain and bitterness. She recycles her sadness into anger, after all. She’s pretty emotive and feels strongly, she’s pretty empathetic.

Sure alchemy is cool but have you heard of art? She really likes painting with oils, she makes her own pigments and likes to paint on tree barks in the forest. She loves to use very Earth-ish slangs and give common names like Bob to her butterfly pals. "I call this painting... The Big Mood." She does a lot of pop culture references too, she adores the nightmare before christmas, kung fu panda and Tangled the series. She remembers how to do some origami stuff &  will do some if there's paper available & she's bored

Even tho she's got a neat dagger her fav weapon is actually a bow, she keeps one in her layers of skirt, a dagger is just quicker and easier to wield. She passes most of her time with Leiftan, Chrome & Jamon. Though she gets along with most people, she does get bitter with some people due to the memory potion incident. She ran away in the woods with her familiar right after she was forced to drink the memory potion. It was very traumatic for her. It’s the traumatic shock that awakened her fae genes, growing her rabbit ears and hooves. Initially in the story, she started out wanting to be best pals with Ezarel, and they got along great, and she and Valkyon often ended up on missions together and hanging out sometimes, though Nevra a fair bit as well. Nevra is the one she perhaps knew the less, spent less time with, but he always was the one who always best knew how to deal with her. Her relationship with Ezarel took a massive hit after the potion incident, and with her newfound bitterness Valkyon’s behavior eventually made her wary. Nevra is the one she overall trusts the most, though has the least personal experience with, he kinda has that brother vibe. Leiftan never left her trust or her heart all hail best boy
She chose the teacher affectation, she's very social at heart and having a sense of community is very very important to her. She's far from someone who can write detailled rapports or concentrate on amassing a big amount of knowledge, so the library felt like an uncomfortable choice though she prob would still have been able to chill at that job. The infirmary scared her because of the responsibility, but it was still an ok option. Though, being a teacher with kids is really what she felt like doing, kids and getting social interactions with wholesome people fuel her, and the feeling of being helpful and tying those links helped making her feel like her life would go on.

She misses band practice & forum art threads from Earth, she generally lives a very content life in Eldarya though, she’s still as much of an artist as she was. She loved the saxophone but Eldarya don’t got that apparently

Sa dague n’est pas vraiment super importante mais faites vous plaisir! <3 Oh, c’est bon de noter qu’elle a des tâches de rousseur, aussi, et ce serait préférable de ne pas lui ajouter des oreilles humaines lol
