Childhood

Mura grew up in a very quiet family, not really interacting with her parents much. Eventually, her parents moved out of the city, leaving her to be alone in it. She managed to get by fine, and she met Kira, with her spending most of her time keeping Mura company and being one of her only friends. Mura didn't really interact with Kira much, even though Kira always tried to keep an eye out for her. She never really got interested in turf wars either, and mostly just stuck to her own fascinations with history and long lost technology.

Early Adulthood

Her interest in human technology eventually became more and more a part of her life as she grew older, with her spending most of her time locked in her apartment, writing as many theories and research papers as she could, trying to even blueprint technology for her to recreate herself. She began to search in a larger area for information, and eventually realized that there were many abandoned pieces of human technology in the ocean. She started to make it a routine for her to go diving every week, trying to find technology, even if it was damaging to her body. One night, she went far enough where she found a hotspot of abandoned human technology, finding a giant abandoned nuclear reactor. With radiation still being present, she became unconscious, and getting radiation poisoning. She luckily got saved by a rescue team, called out by Kira, worrying about Mura's well being. After a month in intensive care, her condition stabalized, with her appearance having changed, having bandages stuck to her tentacles as apart of the healing process, her eye pigment having been completely messed up, and being unable to ever transform into squid form again. Kira helped her get back onto her feet, along with a few friends, to make sure she stays safe. The experience made Mura see things differently and act differently, with her becoming more sociable and outgoing then she used to. She moved in with Kira, and as the two began to talk more, over time she realized Mura wasn't how she used to be years and years ago. However, though, Kira would end up learning to accept Mura's hobbies and such, and Mura regained a sense of normalcy in her life after the incident.

Present

Now, she spends most of her time with Kira and friends, trying to still persue her research, albeit a bit more interested in things outside of the scope of just researching history, such as investigating strange incidents outside the city. Eventually, Mura ended up meeting two people, Rizu and Myles, and the two formed a sort of research team. She also has become some sort of rivals with Teo, a special agent, and the two end up getting into situations together often, normally against Teo's will. Mura always seems to get into dangerous situations whenever she feels like it, and almost always drags him along with her for the ride. However, over time, the two become more close, and the two begin to get feelings for each other.
