Hated Food: Canned Cat Food Hobbies: Watching Cooking Shows: Without hands, how can one cook? Living with a child, she can’t very well cook the gourmet meals that Julienne lusts after. No, it simply won’t do, and this cat demands that the television be on some sort of food station. She wants to learn how those ever so famous chefs do what they do. Besides, she may have a little human crush on one or two of the cooks. Who doesn’t like a big guy, lifting a large fish, and then cooking it into a delicious masterpiece? If she can’t eat it, she at least wants to watch someone eat it. Reading Recipe Books: For all of the time that she wasn’t able to have the television on, or when she hadn’t known about that wonderful cooking channel, Julienne would read recipes in any type of recipe book that she could find. Even today, sometimes she’ll wonder to one of those nice outside bookstores and manage to find a book with some nice recipes in them. After all, if she can memorize the recipe of something she likes, maybe she can have one of her senshis make it for her someday! Napping: After eating a big meal, of course the most logical thing to do is nap. It helps digest all of the wonderful food, and Julienne is always ready to make sure her food digests. No matter what. Besides, naps are, always have been, and always will be, very good for the soul. And everyone should have a good, well rested soul. Virtues: Loyal: As a cat, Julienne is very loyal to anyone and everyone who feeds her and gives her those wonderful pets and scratches that she loves. As a guardian though, she willing to help all of the forces of good, and is unwaveringly loyal to her team. There is almost nothing that she wouldn’t do for them, even if that involved running, or using her claws for something other than slicing an onion or the tender flakey flesh of a salmon steak. She knows that they are the ones who need the guarding, and she will do her very best to guard. She would do anything for her senshi…and might even extend this loyalty to any senshi that she awakens, but when it comes to her actual team, there is nothing that she wouldn’t do for them, even if it costs her the beauty sleep and food that she so often desires. Patient: Great Senshis, like Great Chefs, are not things that can happen overnight, and Julienne knows that. She understands that her team will have to really work at becoming unified, like a Chef would have to learn to chop potatoes. Things will become repetitive, and Julienne does her best to continue to guide everything in her life with a great patience. From cooking soufflés, to getting her fur clean after a rainstorm. Life is better when one doesn’t rush it along. Honest: If you aren’t honest about how a dish is prepared, how is the chef going to know that they need to improve upon it? Julienne prides herself on stating the truth in all situations, even if the truth is a difficult thing to say. She isn’t one to tell white lies to anyone, even if it is to encourage them to keep their self confidence up. Lies will help with nothing. In the real world, only truth can cause change. Lies will only cause bigger, more costly foul-ups later on in life. Flaws: Lazy: Eating, sleeping and making sure her senshi are taken care of, that is how Julienne plans her life. In her mind, she is a guardian, and guardians are designed to give advice and guide their senshi, not to participate in the inevitable fights that senshi get themselves into on an almost daily basis. The one exception to this, would be if she was really needed in a battle, and she could change the tide of it. She isn’t keen on the whole, ‘moving around’ thing, and very much enjoys being carried from place to place if such a thing is possible. If she is forced to have to walk from point A to a point B, there is a very great possibility that she will complain the whole way, and refuse to participate in whatever is at the end of the walk she had to make. The bottom line is, if it isn’t related to senshi business, and it isn’t an emergency, good luck in getting Julienne to do anything. Overly Critical: Honesty is one thing, but quite often Julienne will slip past plain old honesty, and venture into a world of rather harsh criticisms. If someone messes up on something, she is sure to let them know, then go into detail of every minor thing that they slipped up on, with the hopes of helping them to correct their mistakes in the very best way possible, and hurting the feelings of the one that made the mistake. Julienne doesn’t realize that she is being so critical, and when she has been told of such, she claims that she is just being honest with them, not harsh. Spoiled: Julienne loves the high life. She loves high class foods, lots of attention, and she grows very, very grumpy when she doesn’t get this attention. In being attached to a chibi senshi, and living with yet another chibi senshi, she is very much used to being pampered. There is such a thing as being spoiled, and there is a thin line between that and spoiled rotten, and with Julienne, the line seems to blur even more than with others. The Mauvivan thinks of herself very highly, and acts the part of a Head Chef from a fancy restaurant, only expecting perfection, and pampering always. |
