Profile
Castalla is so many things to so many different people- a Princes, a General, a Saviour. A daughter, an enemy, a victim. A monster, an assassin, a tragedy. She is an epitaph to the concept that all actions have consequences; her life, a eulogy to the sanctity of her people.
She damns herself with each decision, fulfilling a prophecy she made for herself when life was at its darkest and the only way to survive the monsters was to become one. Yet her kindness is her armour, her smile is her sword. For if a monster stands and fights for the innocent can they really be a monster? Each day makes it easier to believe that lie, that what she does now can atone for what she did then.
- Castalla's parents struggled to conceive and went to the witch of the woods, Morgaine who used magic to help them. When Castalla was born, it was believed she was the daughter of a prophecy.
- Castalla is also unable to conceive, but for a different reason and one she reveals to almost no one.
- She often has nightmares and rarely sleeps in the same room as someone else.
- Although fairly introverted, Castalla is also comfortable being the centre of attention in some circumstances and can be outgoing where necessary. Nevertheless she greatly prefers her own company and often choose quiet over conversation.
Kind, loyal and self-sacrificial, intensely proud and confident. Hates showing weakness in front of anyone, never bows or allows herself to be seen as beneath people she does not respect. Comes across as cocky but that's more of an act, depsite being self-assured of her skills and appearance. Is however insecure about what she has done in the past and does not truly consider herself a hero. Harbours an immense amount of guilt but will never let anyone else tell her she should. Has to be in control of everything and has a plan A-Z for almost anything she does. Can however improvise fairly well but prefers not to. Reckless and self-endangering on a daily basis, doesn't know her own limits. Would die for anyone she cares about and holds the value of innocent people above the value of her own life. Stubborn as anything, will not back down in an argument even when she isn't right but is ready to apologise to her friends if she is in the wrong. Would do anything for those she cares about.

Their hearts ache to the same song of sorrow, an agony they both share despite the short time they have known each other. Though she may not care to admit it, Castalla has come to rely on him more than she allows herself to rely on anyone else and finds the secrets she keeps locked away almost waiting to spill from her tongue. Their friendshipp has bloomed quickly but she wonders if beneath the watchful gaze of time it might blossom into something more.
In a world where she never strayed from the shores of Alanaris to seek other lands, Castalla is pulled into a series of events that ultimately lead her to Aeschylus. At first he is just another person trying to stop her and she is just another obstacle in his way but a fickle alliance draws them together and ultimately they overcome the distrust to find comfort in each other.
Though she would take this secret to her grave, a young Castalla once had a crush on Lumaris. He was a skilled warrior, mysterious and handsome but ultimately the ancient sadness that boiled beneath his shields was too deep for her to ever touch and she would never been the one get him to open up. He, of course, never found out and the two maintained a courteous and resevered alliance whenever they worked together.
In a world where she never strayed from the shores of Alanaris to seek other lands, Castalla comes across Theron and though at first the two were meerly friends, they soon begin a torrid relationship. However after the death of her parents Castalla seeks solitude and when at last Theron finds her again, she is not the same and they do not rekindle their love.
Though Castalla is not as devout as some who still believe in the ancient Thirteen Gods of Alanaris, she holds a certain reverence for the embodiment of the night, Nysa (Nyx). She does not know her goddess walks the earth but instead often finds herself staring at the night sky and wondering whether she truly is looking down on them.
