She has amber colored eyes, and a light complexion. Namine wears the standard uniform for Akademi High, with purple heather colored thigh high stockings. PersonalityNamine is a very open and accepting student amongst her peers. She looks up to Akane Toriyasu, the Student Council Secretary, and Uekiya Engeika leader of the Gardening Club, and respectfully addresses both of them as senpai. She is currently not part of any clubs but she has an interests in a few. Due to her having interests in more than one club, she has a hard time deciding which one to join. ReputationNamine has a good reputation, she isn't too popular to be well known by the school nor is she considered so much of an outcast to be bullied. RoutineNamine arrives at school early and changes her shoes. Before class, she joins Akane, while keeping a good distance between them, on her patrol through club rooms occasionally chatting about personal interests. Akane often asking Namine if she finally decided on joining a club. Once the bell rings, Namine parts ways with Akane and heads to her class, 2-2. During lunch, Namine eats with Uekiya and the gardening club members. Just like Akane, Uekiya asks Namine if she would join a club to which Namine has yet to answer. When lunch is over, Namine heads to her second class for the day. After classes, Namine stays behind after school for a while, roaming around the hallways checking out the club rooms. She spends a little more time outside the Scienc Club, watching the members work, before checking out the other clubs. When all club activities end, she goes back to her locker and changes her shoes before heading home. The student council have been telling me that if I choose to stay behind after school I should be part of a club, if not I have to leave like everyone else. How boring. Problem is! I don't know what club to join. There are a few clubs I'm very interested in, and I definitely want to join... But of course. One. Club. Thanks so much for helping me out!" RelationsNaoka Tanabe-Namine's cousin. Naoka's a very laid back and rather straightforward person. When Namine talks to her, she can talk in a more laxed way of speaking. The two often exchange quips about each other, although Naoka has a dry sense of humor. When that happens, the two share a look before bursting out laughing. If Namine ever gets herself into trouble, Naoka would immediately jump in to defend her. Naoka isn't afraid to start a fight if it meant getting the attention on her and Namine gets away scot-free. Akane Toriyasu-Namine looks up to Akane, she's amazed that someone so caring and friendly can be so dangerous at the same time. The rumor about Akane putting up a facade is probably the only rumor she is very uncertain of. She's too afraid to ask, since Akane can be quite intimidating with just her presence alone. Namine ends up ignoring it, and focuses on the good things about Akane. Uekiya Engeika-Just like Akane, Namine looks up to Uekiya. Namine never knew there could be someone with such a pure heart could exist, until she met Uekiya. Due to her caring and doting nature, Namine looks to her for guidance and support. Since Uekiya is pretty knowledgeable about flowers, Namine often asks her for help with flower arrangements. Kyoshi Taiso-Out of all the teachers, Taiso is Namine's favorite. She likes Taiso's friendly side and feels that it's much easier to talk to her as compared to the other teachers. Namine is quite an active girl, and likes learning valuable and healthy life lessons. If Namine didn't have an interest in other clubs, she would have joined the sports club due to Taiso Sensei's friendly encouragement. Kaga Kusha-Namine finds Kaga's antics to be quite amusing and entertaining to watch. Although, she will admit she was a bit freaked out at first, but eventually grew accustomed to it. She isn't aware that his plan for "world domination" isn't a joke and lightly teases him about it. Despite that, Namine listens to his plans intently and suggests even crazier ideas as a joke, still unaware that he is serious about his plan. Namine is aware of his obsession over Saikou Corps, and is slightly disappointed that Kaga has an "interest" towards Megami. When Namine realized she had a crush on Kaga, she tried act as if nothing changed, but fails from time to time. For now, Namine will have to put up with all that gazing from afar. Kizana Sunobu-Despite being an accepting person, Namine can't help but feel extremely annoyed by Kizana. She is not a big fan of her distasteful personality and often avoids her when she can. Mainly because of this reason, Namine stays clear from the drama club. However, if the two do encounter each other, Namine remains calmly and speaks to Kizana the way she would with everyone else, respectfully. Unfortunately for Namine, the two are classmates. Ryuto Ippongo-Namine is probably an idiot to constantly challenge one of the gamers to a challenge, especially Ryuto. No matter how hard she tries to beat him, she loses miserably. Namine gets a little petty whenever she loses to him, but eventually laughs it off. Since she isn't part of the gaming club, Ryuto pokes fun at her for not having 'the experience' of a gamer like he has. Namine takes no offense to his jokes and continues to challenge him until she wins at least one game. Quotes
HistoryBefore attending Akademi High, Namine actually attended another school. She was living with her mother at the time. Her parents are separated but still get together on special occasions to spend time as a family even for a little while. There are no hostility between her parents, both ended on good terms. She lived her life normally, until her mother tells her news of getting accepted into Akademi. It was exciting news to say the least. Unfortunately, Namine lived pretty far from Akademi. Luckily her cousin Naoka lived much closer and was also attending Akademi. Naoka didn't mind letting her stay, since she lived alone, she could use the company. Namine's parents took up her offer and she was allowed to move in with Naoka. The two are very close, and Naoka allowed her to do as she please just as long as she gets a job to help pay for rent. Since Naoka was the only one Namine knew in school, she followed her around before her cousin shoved her into someone to have them show her around instead. Unfortunately for both of them, Naoka shoved Namine into Akane, who in turn, gracefully shoved Namine back. After clearing up the situation, Naoka leaves the two who are completely unaware of her disappearance, so Akane has to deal with Namine now. Knowing her cousin, Namine was fully aware that Naoka would ditch her with someone else. Trivia
