Clever and manipulative, Wyn is careful to keep his true nature under wraps and obscure his motives. Harbors a deeply-competitive nature that disallows him from backing out - but he harbors the skills, intellect, and contacts to help himself eek ahead in the race. Has little time for petty grudges or moral questions. Thinks of himself as better than Cogito, but lacks the self-awareness to notice his own control issues. Enjoys mortals quite a bit, but can honestly live without them - they can be pests sometimes.
Always a quiet dissenter when it came to Cogito, Wyn was intelligent enough to keep his distaste to himself. He knew well that Cogito's mind-control powers could wipe him off the face of Myrme, and so instead quickly plotted a long game: to rid Myrme of Cogito through excessive gold torture, elaborately set up so that the other couldn't escape or predict what was coming. When Cogito rose into power, Wyn took up place as his advisor and practical mage, while keeping in contact with Lynna.
