The centerpiece of Circe's skillset is the ability to build up enough energy to burst through the barriers of the multiverse, allowing her to enter and exit alternate realities freely. As Circe enters a new universe, her form and abilities change to abide by that reality's "rules" but leaving her personality, memories, and multiversal power intact. Time doesn't really exist in the multiverse, so if Circe were to return to a universe she'd previously left, she'd pick back up where she left off.
