Spectre

Jasper is the Spider-Person of their origin universe, dragged into a multiversal conflict alongside several others by an as-yet-unknown event (these other spider-people each belong to an IRL friend of mine, none of which are on TH). Jasper fights crime as the athletic, mysterious Spectre, but unmasked they are surprisingly clumsy and awkward, with a healthy dash of idiot. They have electrovision, which allows them to see electrical currents (power cables leading to a secret lair, nerve signals in a person waiting to ambush them, etc). With enough practice they may eventually be able to distinguish which areas of someone’s brain are more active than others, providing rudimentary mind-reading capabilities, but for now they cannot, and are indeed unaware that it’s even possible.

Their black-and-white hero suit with neon accents is a stark contrast to their preferred civvie clothes. Jasper wears neutral, earthy tones, and tries to keep most of their body covered (long pants, turtlenecks, etc). They can be drawn wearing pretty much anything, as long as it fits the aforementioned guidelines. However, their ever-present black cloak hides a startling secret - when they were bitten they didn’t just gain spider powers, they also grew an extra pair of arms. These extra arms are shockingly flexible, and Jasper usually keeps them folded tightly against their back, hidden by the cloak. Their homemade suit has been tailored to allow all four arms a full range of motion when crime-fighting.

Jasper is incredibly intelligent and skilled in a range of fields, including electrical engineering, technology, and programming. This has allowed them to make their own extendable staff, which retracts completely into its own handle when not in use. The staff is conductive and can be used to shock opponents.

Jasper was bitten by a dimension-hopping spider created by a friend’s spidersona Orion (not on TH). I’m unsure as of yet how their story ties in to Orion’s universe though.
