Ifrit <3

Blessed—or rather, cursed—with an inclination toward magicks and healing, Ifrit could have devoted most of her time to committing the knowledge of medicine to memory, or even honing what could have been an extraordinary magical ability. Instead, however, she had chosen not to devote effort into learning such demanding subjects, instead utilizing her talents in the art of “party tricks” or simple illusionry in order to perform acts of thievery in order to get by. After all, why do something, when others can do it for you?

Somehow, Ifrit emits an air of superiority to her, evident perhaps on the unintentionally condescending expression often featured on her countenance, or the patronizing manner in which she speaks to others. It doesn’t help that she enjoys exhibiting herself arrogantly with her practical, yet “know-it-all” nature, with harsh reprimands for misinformation. Despite her pragmatism, however, she often finds herself to be quite unproductive, often taking the easier, quicker course of action, and often denies any mention of her laziness and asserts that she’s “being efficient.” Nevertheless, Ifrit can be quite innovative for the sake of convenience, and good ideas often come about whenever she’s considering a more simple way to accomplish a task. When change desires to interfere with her comfortable manner of living, however, the feline doesn’t take well to it, and it may induce a panic attack. Being terrified of having one, her stress levels often proliferate.

Ifrits morals are iffy, and she’s often unreliable. She’s untrustworthy with private information, as with most, she’d likely share it with the next individual who asks, and she’ll often say what she thinks you want her to hear—although her assumptions are often incorrect and she is an awful liar—in order to get what she wants. That being said, she is proficient at keeping her own secrets, as when she is determined, she will deflect your queries and refuse to answer. Not many are willing to overlook her flaws and break her out of her trust-issue-laden shell, and as such, she doesn’t have many close companions. Being introverted, this fact doesn’t often concern her, but being reminded of it prompts dismay, as she does care about certain people, but she’s reluctant and inept at conveying it.
