Yuma

Yuma is a young dream deity who resides on the Dream Plane. His job is to bestow good dreams each night upon humans and his followers. He's still young, and sort of inexperienced, but he's trying his best, and loves helping others.

When Yuma stumbles upon a human boy who is cursed to only have nightmares, he attempts to give him a good dream. He ends up accidentally entering a half-filled contract that requires him to break the curse, and is pulled into the human's world! As a result of the curse being only halfway broken, demons from the boy's nightmares escape from the Nightmare Realm and scatter across the human world. Now Yuma and the human boy have to hunt down every last one, or else the curse will remain forever, the demons will stay on the loose, and Yuma won't be able to make it home!

Yuma eventually gets adjusted to the human world, and takes a liking to the human boy that he's stuck with. Still, Yuma is airheaded enough already, and he has almost no knowledge of the human world, so he does a lot of silly things. He's amazed by things as simple as a toaster oven, and uses random objects he finds incorrectly. He also has a hard time getting used to slang and local jargon! Yet no matter what happens, he's sure to try his best!
