Arla

Arla a powerful griffin fought the war the last 3 years, since she's older than both Abigail and Aldegonda. Her official work during the war, was something that she enjoyed; the department of aerial battle. Having wings, Annette, Lady Kaleida and Butterscotch had the idea of a department of Aerial battle which worked just fine against the wingless Elves. Great strategy indeed.

Arla now, out of the war, is a successful archaeologist, kinda like Indiana Jones. Most of the animals in Alera didn't know of that occupation until Becky Mint brought in some DVDs from her own world from which she beamed up through some stolen high technology from the Elves that happened to make her appear in Arla's home

The beaming device actually works in a peculiar way, when Becky saw a light emanating from the ground as a curious human as she was and she stepped in and *bloop* she appeared in Alera and since in Alera Humans are unable to live due to the atmosphere (more oxygen than normal), she had a 50%-50% chance of either becoming an Elf or an Animal, luckily she became a cat. But that's a story for another day.

Arla now is a successful adventurous archaeologist much like Indy (Indiana Jones), with a great set of skills for her age all thanks to be a griffin and having a faster healing factor and wings, what more can one ask for ? Plus Arla lives for adventure through an adventurous job, exactly what she wanted. Arla gets flirted a lot because of how beautiful she is and of her exciting and rare job, plus of her rare beautiful wings and rare species and plenty of confidence.
