created a potion to get rid of a pest invasion in violets but it causes purple spots to form

tail contains her magic. if cut off she loses her magic and the tail dies

tail is somewhat its own being but can also be controlled by maribelle. Sometimes there is struggle

if the tail bites it can leave small cactus-like needles in the skin of the victim

may someday publish her research but is mostly doing it for her personal use

mainly works from home--her downstairs is a shop/lab/greenhouse
