Allegretto

The soon-to-be king that was as perfect as he was charming.
And that's why he had to die.

Despite the controversy that followed his family name, Allegretto was well beloved by everyone. He was talented in just about every category: his wit made him win constant debates; his strategies were unique but destructive enough to get a victory in several battles; his musical abilities were beyond even his parents; and his kindness was appreciated by all he met. He was the ideal leader, one capable of uniting everyone without conflict. He was accepted by his people and adored by them.
When the time came that his brother was exiled, Allegretto could only laugh. What a silly tradition, he thought to himself, that would cause such a ruckus. He visited his disheartened brother and gave him a warm smile, promising that once he became king he would make sure everyone accepted him back into the kingdom whether they liked it or not.
Shortly after, he was assassinated.

The assassin was never found, and with his death and the only other heir to the throne exiled, the kingdom was thrown into an uneasy tension.

Notes: It all started with a name. Originally, I wanted Roy's kids to be named Adagio and Allegro, but it ended up not working. Allegro stuck with me, though. The word alone was so energetic, you know? I always meant to have him more as an NPC type of character, one you hear about and don't really see that much. But the more I talked about him, the more ideas I got until I decided to make him a character!

Personality: The dreamy smile on his face and the half-lidded stare of his earned him the title "Carefree Prince". He seems to always be lost in thought or spaced out, finding a butterfly to be more interesting than any conversation he's in. It's that combination of relaxed along with his charming personality that is able to lower one's guard around him and find themselves talking to him about any kind of topic. He is friendly and thoughtful, doing what he believes is right and not caring for what people will think of him.
He is not completely lazy, however, as he is a rather persistent flirt. If he takes an interest to you you can find him always around and eager to pull you aside to have tea with him.

Weapons:
- Conductor's Baton - Although he's capable of wielding a certain legendary sword, he never seemed to vibe well with it and instead turned to a weapon that more runs along his mother's side. You can always see Allegretto carrying a conductor's baton with him. He claims it's to conduct out music he thinks up in his head, but if you end up fighting him you'll see that the baton can transform into a lance.

Non-human Abilities:
- Musicianship - A skill he inherited from his father and perfected; Allegretto will take a moment to close his eyes and focus on his opponent, listening to their heartbeat and the songs coming from that rhythm. Instead of using the music against them, he will instead sing a duet with them, his own music going into their soul and effectively paralyzing them. He cannot do anything else when activating this ability; dodging an attack or getting attacked will break his focus and stop the music.
- Musicianship II - Always thinking of music, he creates a barrier around his head to prevent people from reading or controlling his mind.

Drawing Details: With the main color scheme of purple and white, Allegretto enjoys dressing fancy. He wears white gloves to match his coat and cravat; his coat also goes over only one shoulder, his left. His vest can have any pattern on it as long as it is mostly purple. This is the style of the hilt of his baton. Sometimes wears a hat, but not always. Constantly has a dreamy smile.

Fun/Extra Facts:

- Talented with all instruments, which is why he prefers conducting. Tuba is his favorite, though.

- Sometimes conducts when his baton is a lance.

- The kingdoms used to be hidden from humans but are now out in the open, seen more as a secondary government ruling over non-humans. These kingdoms are shared with the countries, such as Litari being Italy.

- Speaks Italian, English, and German.

- Doesn't quite care for the rumors that his father's an evil monster. Finds it more amusing, like an urban legend.

- A very dominant top in bed.

- Spicy > Sweets.

- Rumored to be able to sleep with his eyes opened. Most of the time he plays along with it.

- Although his ability focuses on a specific heartbeat, Allegro actually can't stop listening to the heartbeats around him. Even of animals.

- Hearing heartbeats used to be very overwhelming for him when he was younger. He would spend times in the castle's cemetery to get away from all the noise.

- Tried to teach his brother how to sing. It is, unfortunately, a lost cause.

- Never interested in cooking.

- Seen most of the time in the courtyard, staring at flowers or butterflies.

- Occasionally ventures out of the castle in modern clothes instead of noble ones so that people don't recognize him. He likes to talk with people and get a better feel of his country, both the good and the bad sides.

- Carries out the tradition of liking Hot Pockets.

- Harbors a strong dislike for monarchy, and to a smaller extent the upper class. His plan was to change the kingdom's government once he became king.

- Not dead in forum games.
