Yrgna

(Pronounced like Yerg-na Eck-nel-is)

About -

The townsfolk didn't know exactly when Yrgna first came to them but they were first made aware of his existence after hearing it from someone he had saved from being lost in the woods and thus the townsfolk would come to admire this so-called hero of the woods. Eventually one such townsfolk would venture to the woods in search of him and end up getting his self hurt which lead to Yrgna having to carry him to his home in which Yrgna finally steps foot into the town that admires him so. This event would lead to Yrgna meeting a very silly puppet...

Yrgna Ecnelis is a bird-like man with what seems to be a rude and dismissive personality but under the surface there seems to be a longing for something, what that something is, Yrgna doesn't know and doesn't care and frankly he finds it quite annoying! He has a tendency to find most things annoying, including the various folks who try very hard to be his friend. A so called loner, he will try his hardest to convince you of that but in some rare few moments you might catch a glimpse of a weird but endearing bird guy. This guy might be a bit hard to befriend but it's probably worth it! 

For how long Yrgna's lived, he's spent most of his times away from human and as such knows very little of human traditions and customs which results in him having weird ideas of how humans live. If you can get Yrgna to talk for a while, you'll find he has some interesting things to say. A little sample of things he may talk about: He dislikes sweets, don't bother offering him any don't try to bribe him with any. He likes savory meaty meals. Though he has some curiosity about sweetened meats like honey ham. He finds amusement in humans wearing apparel resembling or having fur or feathers, "they're trying to make up for what they lack". 

He's a natural born hunter, having had to hunt for survival since a young age he's become rather good at it which translates to him being good at sneaking around. He's not afraid of a bit of guts and gore in fact he might even find that tasty. The fastest way to this man's heart is a nice carnivorous meal! He'll even eat the bones! Just no seafood for him. Although he's only ever hunted things smaller than him, the biggest things being deer, he's not bad in a fight at least with those a little less experienced. Although Yrgna hunts, his species is still a forager so he's not against eating what he finds. Despite sleeping in dirty places and making a mess with a meal, Yrgna likes to keep a mostly clean appearance at least hair-wise. 

Compared to most, Yrgna's kind of tall which might make hunting something of a difficulty in certain places. It does give off an air of intimidation to those new to him. Yrgna has no interest in eating humans but he's not against using that to scare folks away. He has somewhat short hair with a lot of volume, his hair color is completely natural although he intentionally styles it to have one color on each side. His wings are quite large and fluffy, being hit with it would probably feel like a pillow. He has the ability to swap to a bigger more bird like form, trading his arms for larger wings and a huge beak. Switching between each form is tiring so as a default he stays in his humanoid form. You may have noticed Yrgna's face markings resemble clown makeup and that is quite intentional!

Yrgna is a mess of fur and feathers, so he prefers to wear short pieces of clothing. His favorite style being sleeveless shirts and ripped medium length pants. He's not against wearing long sleeves or pants, he might complain about it a bit but he'll wear it. Just don't ask him to wear a big fluffy coat. It is not recommended you let Yrgna borrow your clothes as there is a strong possibility they will return torn and shredded. 

Obligatory Likes and Dislikes -

• Puppet, they're begrudgingly friends. - When Yrgna first met Puppet, he found him immensely annoying. He was too happy, too joyful and worst of all he enjoyed sugary sweets. Basically a one-sided dislike on Yrgna's part. It's only after a few wacky shenanigans that Puppet grows to be only somewhat annoying to Yrgna. Will these two become best friends? Only time will tell! 

•  Yrgna has no preference in gender, romance-wise. He just doesn't see himself falling in love anytime soon.
• He puts on a fancy voice around others, if he gets excited enough he slips up and uses his natural voice.
• Since he's a bird he's capable of chirping and screeching but he tries to hide that aspect.
• He enacts violence with his tail and wings, using them to slap people. (If he feels they deserve it)
