Little Side Notes

Lumen has three eyes, though most only ever see two. The third eye blends in seamlessly atop his forehead until he decides to open it. Lumen says he only opens it for serious events but generally Cosmo is one to see it the most; especially if he's feeling in a particular good mood. Truthfully he is still ashamed of his mutations, having received backlash from them at his old home but with Cosmo and compay he is learning to love himself.

Lumen's species believe in peace but also believe in justified violence. There are technically two sub-species of their race, three if you count the default which each one is born as and generally stay through their entire life. One must be blessed by the unseen and apply to what was written in their lore. But it is rumored through dedicated peace and their soul resonating with that path they morph into a ethereal being, tall and glowing their hair and fur are ungodly long but somehow cleanly kept. Though should one be dedicated to the path of a warrior and have their soul resonate with it, they will morph into something large and rather unnatural. Claws forming from their fingers; mass increasing into somewhat of a hulking fiend. Long fur and unwelcoming teeth are two other factors.

Lumen was once apart of a hivemind and a very complicated species who is in touch with their very surroundings. Both having the ability to see and feel what the trees and other flora/fauna can. Taking life from the guiding magic in many ways to survive and help them thrive in return. But, having been ripped away from that he no longer expresses emotions as properly or fluidly. Granted his are still there they are just not as clear as what many would realize. This is most noticeably the reason for his monotoned voice and somewhat condescending tone in some conversations. Though it is also noted that on the extremely rare occasion Lumen grows angry or even overwhelmed, usually in a fight there is no doubt to any witness what he is feeling. Voice that of his own and no longer hiding behind that cursed monotoned mask.

Lumen has no intention of going back home, having grown attached to Cosmo and company, and also welcoming the idea of not having to live as a outcast. Lumen's species thinks of his slight mutations as an omen, very much believing highly in bloodlines and cultural myths. As such he was often dismissed and given the lack luster jobs of the village or flat out ignored. There was hostility shared between them all but Lumen kept his head high and lived through it, often secluding himself in jobs and tending to the fauna and flora around him as they had no ill will.

Lumen has extreme magic capabilities, but keeps them underwraps for the most part when in public. Though anywhere out of the public's eye he can be seen moving objects around, floating and conjuring various items. Repairing things that were once broken and a bunch of other things that I am too lazy to write :'D
