Lekanto

Born from a Gypsy Vanner taur and a unicorn taur, his birth came as a bit of shock. Unexpected, unplanned, but no less joyful of his arrival. From day one everyone had big plans for him and how he should grow up and be. But he himself railed against it. Not having the same degree of magic as his mother did, and not vain or proud of his appearance as his father was he didn't know where he belonged. Feeling trapped and like there were too many expectations laid upon him, all of which he neither wanted, or could complete, he ran from his herd and went out to find a new life. From there, he stumbled upon a bustling city that held all kinds of creatures, and he found he liked it. It was far more interesting then the wide open plains, and unlike others of his kind. He didn't mind the bustle and the noise. Enjoyed it, even. From there, he would find trouble, love and everything in between.

He gets along with his neighbors and the daughter likes braiding flowers into his tail. It makes him feel pretty so he leaves it.

His neighbors landlord is a little slummy and his neighbor is a single mother and he helps look out for them. Its not a romantic thing, they just get along really well and despite his punky look he's a soft boy and the daughter adores him. In return mama bakes him snacks and helps out wherever she can as well.

He was probably given some long stupid convoluted name that was supposed to show the expectation of him in the future, but he changes it or shortens it to something much better. He feels a little guilt cause he know his parents wouldn't approve, but he likes it better and makes him feel more like him
