Jasper was born two years before the disaster that killed most of the population and turned others into monsters that wanted nothing but complete death. He was born in the town of Salalah, Oman, his parents originating from Costa Rica. His father was a scientist, working in northern Russia most of his life. He and his brother were visiting his father in North Caucasus during the time of the disaster. He's been stuck wandering there sense then, hoping to find a way back to Salalah and find his mother and sister alive. Jasper's brother is a year and a half older than him, the two never having got along. Jasper looked up to
