- Astro's original design was made by the user exempt on Chicken Smoothie.
- He was a gift from the amazing β reyligion β and is very near and dear to my heart.
- Astro was redesigned on May 17, 2020. Although not a very big change, his coat now has a symmetrical pattern and is less random, for the sake of a more consistent patterning whenever he is drawn.
- Some of Astro's nicknames are Starchild, Starling, and BittyΒ ; as well as MahalΒ or BabyΒ by Rigel.
- Astro's name, Astro Asteri, roughly means " star of the stars. "Β
- He has a small collection of other collars, but his swirly grey one is his default because he's vary attached to it.
- Astro has heightened anxiety and can have panic attacks from time to time. The most common trigger is overworking or being stressed out because of his studies.
- Contrary to Rigel's love of ube flavored anything, the purple yam just doesn't click for him.
- Astro would take the cold over heat anyΒ day. That's that.
Rigel
Boyfriend
Rigel Hunter is Astro's partner for three years and are still going strong. They moved in together after their second year of dating and are living together in an apartment. Rigel is a graduate who works as a florist and runs a small flower shop where most of their income stems from. As a partner, he is very supportive and caring of Astro, but he can also be very strict when it comes to his boyfriend's health. Astro calls him Rige or refers to him as " mahal, " a term originating from the Filipino language which means dearΒ
Content Warning : Relationship StrugglesLike with all couples, Astro and Rigel have moments where they don't see eye to eye. Arguments are not an uncommon occurence between the pair. Such bouts stem from a variety of reasons, but they do their best to work out their differences with one another. Though there are healthy arguments, there have been instances where the pair need to really distance themselves from one another for fear of making things worse or hurting their loved one even more.
Theo
Childhood Friend
Like Rigel, Theo is a big source of comfort in Astro's life. He is a big soft cuddle-bug who will listen to Astro vent about his problems when he needs an ear to listen, especially if it involves relationship struggles. Theo is more of a listener, and knowing that he is able to provide solace to Astro just by hearing him out gives him joy. Astro in turn has always been there for Theo whenever he has needed it.

Sarka
Best Friend
Sarka, who Astro and Rigel refer to as " Sorbet " is a very close friend. She lives in the same apartment complex as the boyfriends and works at their favorite ice cream parlor as a part-time confectioner. She sees Rigel like an older brother and frequently refers to Astro as her " brother-in-law, "Β which has never failed to fluster him when she addresses him as such. She and Astro are close and have quite a few things in common, such as their love for the rain and their disdain of ube flavored confections.
