Avala was born on a stormy February morning to two shaman.It was them that shaped his life and taught him many things,they were very stern but they were very liberty thinking when it came to some things.Avala was taught magic at an early age when they saw his body radiating galaxies while resting in a Cosmos Tree pod.

Avala was homeschooled he was kind of awkward when he met others his age but always willing to tutor them.An old coming-of-age tradition in Mt.Hibernis is to go out a with a pack among three other members around the same age and return.The deer usually hunted are prepared and used in the festive event.A couple years later while visiting during a festival in Pinesborough he met a train conductor who lived in Amberfield City named,Arcus who was good with archery.He asked the Detoran to help him train when he saw Arcus in a competition.It took Avala ten years to learn and create a technique though he doesn't consider himself a master at it he is very good.He uses a longbow for meditation and practice and recurve for everything else.
Arcus ended up befriending Avala and the two would visit though it is more a rarity for Avala to go the city. Avala's relationship with their brother since the beginning is full trust and love. Avala puts all their trust and secrets in Alpine,they were the first to know that they desired another career not family-oriented. Though Alpine prefers Avala stay part of the shaman life they respect their choice. One  tradition that was kept in Mt.Hibernis is the “coming of age hunt”.  When one turns 100 they along any other 100 year old Detorans go on a  week long hunt. The  meat hunted is brought back most of the time as  proof and a victory meal for the family. Avala did their hunt with  Alpine though the is older,but because the status it was a duo pack only oriented of them.

Avala works on conserving certain species of fish and plants,due to the reintroduction of salmon by humans to water.The plants and fish caught are often taken down river to Pinesborough.He owns a narrowboat that he uses to travel to Pinesborough and on occasion a port in other towns.They often does little tours for schools to teach them how to care for the environment.The fish often caught that day are given to the family. At some times he plays music with the assistance of the Vault Warriors. These soldiers while not as active anymore keep the history of the Detorans alive.

He met Spirus via a festival in Pinesborough when the other was selling food.  They are close friends and meet up often at festivals if they come across each other.

He also met Aisha while at a conservation meeting, he suspected she had a crush. They travel around Hibernis when she does visit although she isn't a fan of the cold winters there.


Random Facts
-He loves karaoke
-He gets anxiety speaking for press conferences
-His favorite food is any kind of meaty soup
-He nods off at his desk too often when he does he knows he's been at work too much
-He can play a couple instruments, they enjoy playing them but wasn't too fond on learning them at first.
-He likes visiting the city because it's a break from work
-His parents expect much from him and enjoys when he can go to Amberfield.
-Has his horns maintained when they begin to curl,though it makes him majestic it is a pain to have a life.
-He hates the heat and often puts his hair up  while tending to wear it down more in cooler seasons
-All his clothes are zipper proof,front or back tied.
-Has knowledge on weapons,but prefers archery now.
-Owns a spacecraft and flies to Earth every now and then for wildlife preservation.
-Has some admirers 
-They eventually become an ambassador for Hibernis
-Shaves horns often,they grow back in about three weeks. While aesthetically pleasing and majestic that’s about it. During these times Avala will take advantage of wearing shirts he usually can’t wear.
-Shaving horns isn't exclusive to just Avala,while keeping horns is apart of their culture they can be tedious to have all year. Since the Hibernis family's horns are the only ones that curl they also shave theirs to the average height as the other Detoran. A midpoint of two inches
-Face is mostly stoic when around parents when the conversation is about future shaman replacement.
