Josephine is an incredibly nurturing and understanding domestic cat who has had her fair shares of stories growing up. She spent her early life as a stay at home mum and thus has a big desire as an older woman to "make up for lost time".
Growing up she was always friends with Beatrice, who was her next door neighbors child. The two grew up side by side in a town similar to Williams Town for most of their life. While Beatrice was her best friend, she was often reserved. And when Josephine became a teenager she wanted to expand her friendship options into more ambitious and radical groups. Josephine was easily susceptible to peer pressure and for a while at the later end of her teens. she became too busy being your average young adult who makes dumb mistakes and kisses a lot of boys. She later married and had 2 children with a boy she knew in high school, a bit of a slob and an asshole both then and now. At the time she saw something in him, and knew that everyone else was hitching up and starting their lives early. Its what people did back then! But over the next 20 or so years she grew to resent him, as he became less kind, less helpful around the house, less supportive of the kids ect. Throughout the years she kept in contact with Beatrice, and when Josephine finally divorced her husband, Beatrice was there for her and even admitted to having feelings for her even at the age of 40. The two started spending more and more time together until the two became a lovely and supportive older couple who later used all their savings to quit their jobs and lose themselves in the country, far from anyone they once knew.

PERSONALITY
Josephine has always known how to walk up and talk to anyone. In fact shes a bit of a chatter box and loves to ramble on and on to her wife knowing full well that shell be listened to no matter what. Due to her life as a stay at home mum, she doesn't have a whole lot of technical skills outside of the house. That does mean however that she is incredible at cooking and being an empath. She always knows when someone in her family, whether her wife, children or grand children have something they're not talking about but she never pushes then, only offering a safe person to talk to when she can actually be contacted so far out in the woods. Josephine always had a bit of FOMO while stuck raising the kids, and while she doesn't regret raising them for a second (despite no help from her ex), she does have a great desire to explore and get herself down and dirty in ways she never could in the "city". She loves to go on long hikes or even camp out in the woods. She'll often forced Beatrice for lovely, slow, careful walks along the river bank or for foraging. Josephine is responsible for almost all of the cooking in the house as she still really enjoys it! Watching her wife's expression light up to new favourite foods being discovered (made from things they grew themselves) brings her so much joy! She often writes to her family and walks all the way to the closest town (3 hours away by foot) to send them instead of bothering them with expensive and long phone calls. She often feels like mentally she has a lot more energy than her body will allow her now, but she is more than happy now that shes finally with someone who loves her so dearly.

☘ Going for long hikes or quiet walks with her basket for flower and fruit picking.

DISLIKES
☘ Her Ex Husband.
☘ The fact that she snores and sometimes wakes up Beatrice.
☘ Becoming old and unable to do all the things she wished she could have done with Beatrice earlier in her life :( .
☘ Asparagus.
