LUKE KNIGHT
Luke Knight is an assertive man who doesn't sugar code anything and is not afraid of hurting your feelings. In fact, he can be quite ruthless even without words. He is very charismatic and cunning and can get what he wants in a matter of seconds. He's one of the most well respected and most obeyed human on the planet. He'll be friendly when he wants, but does not care to listen to others. His presence and demeanor can change the mood of an entire room and can make people feel tense, happy, or uneasy.
He is a bit eccentric in his own way, as someone who is not afraid of death, he will happily be the first human tester of any new inventions brought to his company. When his blue prints were used to finish up the first look at a teleportation device, he was adamant about being the first to test it, despite everyone pleading for him not to. Luke Knight is unpredicatable and seems to keep an optimistic and charasmatic attitude to ensure people doubt themselves if they disgree with him in the slightest.
Luke Knight is blunt towards adults, but with children, he is kind and treads carefully with his words. He may not act like it, but he is family oriented and not being able to adopt all the orphans in the academy of Sirilean City doesn't stop him from being a father figure to them.
Character
- Luke Knight became an orphan at 6-years old, after a destructive incident happened in the south side of the city; he was immediately taken in by Jacob a.k.a, the present head butler (Luke's father was jailed and gave up his parental rights over him). From them on, his grades and intelligence shot up to a high level as he'd focus on what the world loved most. Money.
- Knight has psychopathic tendencies and realized there was something different between he and the other kids when he was placed into the orphanage. With a neglectful / abusive household, he'd had little interaction with other people up until that point (homeschooled); so, he based his socializing skills on those around him.
- He is a child abuse survivor and does not tolerate any violence or abuse of children. If you even poke one of his kids, he'll end you right then and there.
- Luke Knight created his first AI, EDEN, when he was 9 years old. Though, instead of being the ear piece she is in the present day, EDEN was a small toy box.
- He gets sunburnt easily. He's often seen with a black umbrella during the summer when the sun is at its strongest.
- His first pitch to Clear Tech (which he took advantage of because they were on the verge of bankruptcy for having overly successful competitors, and then later changed it to Sirilex) with his technology involved relying on his AI creations from death.
Summary
Official Role
Luke Knight is a famous public figure due to his involvement in making Sirilean City become known as the "World's Future". He is exceptionally gifted and has a mind that greatly surpasses the average person in terms of perception, knowledge, intellect, talent and other cognitive abilities. And although he was met with constant scrutiny from the press when he was first starting out as a 16-year old, he took over the world in a flash the moment the chairman showed off the inventions to the public. Being the Ace of cards that he is, Luke Knight is now considered one of three of the fronting GIANTS of Sirilean Culture, and a huge foundation for innovative technology.
He has everything in the palm of his hands, so why does he feel so empty. He has an adoptive father, his maids who've worked alongside him since he was young, his crazy colleagues on the executive board and even the foster kids of the Primary Frost who he adores deeply. But it's only a fact to say that most of his other relationships are only ever business or reputation related. Most people look at his wallet first, then his looks, then... his personality? Needless to say, Luke Knight is not lonely, just annoyed of the constant fake personalities surrounding him everyday. Maybe a fiesty soul will come along and challenge his views on humanity.

I'm willing to compromise."Luke Knight is the first to meet Autumn informally (at the airport) where they have the most unfortunate meeting that causes Autumn to be annoyed of him. She is a small scratch on his day, but recognizes her later on because of her recognizable lion mane hair. She becomes a noticeable scratch in his life once he realizes that she isn't phased by his celebrity status, and soon, he begins getting annoyed of her. They both provoke each other often. At the first turn, Luke Knight goes out of his way to walk up to her just so he could make a sly comment to piss her off. And it doesn't take a genius to figure out that Luke Knight is beginning to fall head over heels for her; and after Jacob makes a comment about it, he is bewildered and denies the accusation. And for a few days because of his denial, he is pretty much just silently glaring her down every time they see each other (which is a huge change of reaction to what Autumn is accustomed to when going back and forth with him). Luke Knight cannot stand the feeling he gets when he sees her, so he downplays his feelings for her often, and is always annoyed when EDEN continues telling him that he's in love. And then after awhile, although he's still in denial, Luke Knight admits to himself that he finds her attractive and for that, he has the urge to piss her off even more. Their provoking just switches up, and they get slightly more playful with other. He's never had feelings for someone before, so he is possessive and easily jealous. |
