What gets him into hacking specifically?
Oooh. Um, thinking it was actually his parents! They were programmers and he kind of self taught himself with what they had at home a day just trial and error

Mostly he got into it cause it was a thing he could do when not in school or at archery practice (he's been going since he was little because his parents' friend was manager at an archery club and they used it as cheap babysitting) and never really thought about doing programming for a living until he started to get good at hacking.
And yes, totally trolls the shit outta people. A site posted false info on his idol? He'd DDOS them or fill the site with cat memes. Friend has a messy break up and their ex is a jerk? All their secrets are public on social media.

Professional Memer. what was his first successful thing that he hacked? imagine he haked into some super confidential government stuff by accident / without realizing how Bad it was to do that. the feds show up at his house and his parents freak, but they Recruit him instead lmao
To answer your questions - THAT KIND OF HAPPENS. his first major successful hack is into the the Korean government servers because he wanted to put blueprints of one of the nuclear reactors on the wall. Shamelessly ripping this from Scorpion but it goes like this -

***twenty minutes later***
Mom: you found them yet?

First case
His first case is a purse snatcher at a mall. He wasn't planning on dealing with it (esp since he didn't know) but it was one of his first times crossdressing in public and he was about to use the restroom when someone came in, took his bag right off the hook from the other side of the door and bolted. And he chased after him and eventually caught him and a lot of the other stolen purses. And then comes the awkward explanation to the police afterwards

Hwarang Training School
Literally he was sent to a special spy training school after the hacking incident
Okay no that's not *entirely* accurate, although he did end up going to a special school. He just had special extra classes that were really spy training. **Hwarang** is a secret organization under the DIA made up of those who the government can use for infiltration and other sensitive missions. They recruit from other government agencies as well as through special schools like the one Nam-seon was transferred to.
To the higher ups in Hwarang, Nam-seon is a ridiculously proficient, if somewhat annoying and exasperating, agent. Agents are exempted from full military service but are expected to take the four weeks training.
(Hwarang is an actual korean term. The idea of it being some sort of secret police-spy-intelligence agency is fictional)

Practices mixed martial arts but is best known as a sharpshooter (archery mainly but has firearms training and is considering getting sniper training too). Low belt in hapkido. Takes early morning jogs for fun and to stay in shape. Good at bowling. And Wii sports. And roller skating

Has multiple computer rigs. His mains are his cell phone (latest samsung galaxy phone, running developers android), tablet (galaxy note), a laptop that dual boots into Linux and Windows, and a netbook.

Huge fan of Kaitou KID. Goes to heists to catch him for himself. Or catch her - who says a gentleman thief can't be a lady?
