What are you hiding, Mother? Please, what did you escape from and what was your world like?

The many worlds out there are very curious things, don't you think? Worlds with humans only, worlds with far more advanced technology, worlds with only magic, worlds with different species intermingling. ...Worlds that are in turmoil, like my mother's. Father never really told me much about Mother's world, just the fact that she fled to start a new life here. She fell in love with Father, and stayed here ever since, raising me. The Queen is kind, the land peaceful, bar the mysterious going ons of the island of Hudd. Yet, there's so many different worlds to think about and explore! Father wants to study them all, I do too. Just to know what these other worlds are like. ...I also hope to one day find Mother's world. I wish to visit it someday...I know how too. A special technique both my parents taught me...but for now, I can't.
